My brother is sick and I failed to convince him to stay at home. Today's story starts with this: Mum made something he likes and I hate for breakfast. So both of us were eating and my brother asked for some water. Mine tasted bad. Really really bad. It's not that bad otherwise, but this tasted so bad I couldn't eat. I thought it was because my mum put way too much syrup on it, so I asked for the main dish to try and balance it out. That's when my brother asked what was wrong, and I explained that it tasted weird. And was like, "Mine tastes bad too. That's why I asked for the water." Yep, it was horrible. How did Dad eat it without saying a word? Eventually we made her go get some bread and tossed this into the trash because neither of us could handle another spoon of that.

My request for an arc just got accepted, but the thing is there is another book that I've been reading for quite a while, and my dad just cut off our WiFi. I still have two seasons of Game of Thrones to watch, so I'm not sure what my priorities are right now.
