"Changing faces
Know the name but I just can't place it
Slurring phrases
Took a step but I can't retrace it
You tell me, "Take this"
But I don't wanna wake up in your wasteland."

Series of Disorganized Thoughts
My dad just brought home his classmates from30030 years ago, and while introducing his children, he ended up butchering my brother's company's name into something completely different and getting my major for uni partially wrong.
Initially one of them asked my brother what he was doing and my brother replied that he was working in our particular Welsh dialect. Except the friend did not quite understand what the hell he was saying, so everyone else in the room, minus me obviously, had to intervene and say the formal version, which probably never occurred to my brother because neither of us actually studied Welsh to be adept in recognizing dialect and formal. Also, when we - or at least I speak, I mix a lot of English and my own version of Welsh with a weird English accent, so even relatives who do understand and speak the same dialect don't understand what I'm saying. I don't understand what they are saying either, so...
But this is super weird because my dad didn't tell Mum that he was bringing home his friends, so she is kind of mad.
The whole story is that my dad had a reunion of all his classmates who studied with him in uni, and since they all studied here in London but are in different parts of the world, they decided to join here. Since Dad still lives here, he did a major part of the planning: one of which included making the momentous. He and another classmate were the ones who went to the store, designed and placed orders.
So when my brother and I were just staring at the giant men he invited into our messy house, he grinned and gave me something wrapped. I just left it on the bed until Mum came here and was curious to see what it was. Upon unwrapping it, we saw the momento, and Mum was explaining how she was a similar design in the sports shop when they went to buy my dad a swim suit (yeah, swim suit! That's the other funny part! xD). And then I just looked at the inscription and said, "Uh the spelling is wrong." Mum looked at me all confused, so I pointed at the word "alumini" and said, "There's an extra 'i'. It's alumni." I even googled it to prove it. Now I just can't stop laughing after picturing about 20-30 people having this at their home.
And my brother just slipped out of the house but none of these people realized. Oh, and I think one of them might have left their possible iPhone to charge using an adapter that came with my android phone, so I do wish him good luck with that!

"Okay you're pretty
Your face is a work of art
Your smile could light up New York City after dark
Okay you're Coverboy pretty
Stamped with a beauty mark
But it's such a pity a boy so pretty
With an ugly heart."

Let's Grab Coffee
So I went to an exam for uni today (and met S there because she had the next slot), but something else made me super happy before the exam.
Starting from the beginning, nope, no school today. That friend/relative of mine is also applying to this uni, and the venue we got was really far from our houses. My dad knows the place though, because it's an exam centre and he once took my cousin there. So my mum offered them to come with us since she didn't want to wait outside for me all by herself. And of course they came with us.
Upon reaching the venue, we checked the board for seating allotments and while my friend's was listed between the limits they posted, mine wasn't. I asked nearly seven people and they all guided me rather poorly. I had to go to the third floor, then come down to the second and finally found my place. Thank goodness we were more than an hour early! Anyway, they don't allow anything except the admit card, ID and a pencil case, so I was supposed to spend like an hour staring at the computer screen which basically said I can't start for at least 80 minutes. It was pretty boring and I was just looking here and there when a boy came over and occupied the system to my right. I was still sitting there in silence for a while before he said, "Hello!"
And then we just started talking from "Have you prepared?" to "Why on earth did you take science subjects? That's probably why your grades are low. Science screws you up and I'm sure you'd have great scores if you took something else" to "What?! You're an atheist too?!" It was..... I rarely talk to people I don't know this openly, but I ended up mentioning that I have rather toxic friends at school and shit. It totally calmed my nerves. And he was super nice.
The exam itself..... Well, I doubt I'd get qualified. I think I did decent in the English and reasoning sections, but I also think all my hopeless answers from the other two sections will nullify the marks I get from these two because it has a negative marking evaluation :/ The new friend doesn't think he did too great either, but I think he is just being modest. Anyway, after the exam, just before they let us leave, he asked to stay in contact, so now we're texting each other :)
Although I'm a bit confused about the situation. I mean he texted me a while ago, but I couldn't reply immediately. When I got a chance, he was still nice and ask if I wanted to grab coffee with him sometime. I said I was rather busy with uni admissions and stuff, but should I be worried?
And the friend/relative, his mum, my mum and I went out for lunch and I wasn't so happy with it, but the some of it was good. Honestly, I didn't care. I was just thinking whether I should try slitting my wrists or something.
