Just so that my mum's fucking unrealistic dreams seem to mean something. That's haunted me for two whole fucking years now, and she just expects me to reap the result again even though I got bashed for my accomplishment from two years ago.

I had my group interview 2 days ago and it went okay-ish. It was super informal, probably because there were so many people present and we had to divide into 3 groups (we sat in circles) I'm dropping the questions they asked me, and they were super typical.

1. tELL mE AboUT YourSelF
2. What are your future goals and career plans?
3. Why did you choose Literature?
4. What is your favourite book? (I was the only one who got this question cuz I kinda rambled a bit more than the others, not sure if its a good thing lol)

The uni you applied to is probably way more professional than mine but honestly during the questions I realized the other candidates were JUST AS NERVOUS as I was, and to be honest there's nothing to be afraid of now that I come to think about it.

Don't be afraid to answer questions, show how passionate you are about literature. In our circle I was the only one chatting with the professor (along with another boy) and when we finished there was an awkward silence because the other students had nothing to add, even thought the professor went around and we had turns. When the interview was almost ending he asked if we were working over the summer and Hallie I swear, just answer them or fake something. I didn't say anything because I'm not, but for the others it was as if they were all waiting for one another to start talking, SO NOBODY MOVED.

I know what I'm talking about applies to group interviews, but you can put these into consideration :)

p.s. I want you to know that I'm really proud of your accomplishments and I know that you try really, really hard already, and one can (or should) see how considerate you are❤️We love you so so much and I hope you get a chance to travel after high school or get a break. Please don't give up!!
