Words of wisdom for those of you who are afraid of spiders or anything else that seems scary to you - I just told Tamra this:

Spiders are more afraid of you and will only attack if they are antagonized or they sense fear. It's the same with any and all animals people are afraid of really. Just try and relax and don't scare it.
Also: it will only attack if it is near enough to sense your fear or you upset it.
I held a fucking tarantula when I was 12 and didn't get bit.

(just words to help all ya out there afraid of creepy crawlies and all)
