So one time, I cut myself right under my friends noses, and they didn't care. I popped pills in front of them, and they didn't realize. To be honest, I was slightly pissed that they didn't help at all even though when someone tries, I push them away. I clearly needed someone even though I wouldn't admit it.
So basically what I'm saying is you don't have to promise to be a replacement for her so-called best friend, but just being there for her, even if she doesn't want it, will matter in some way. Little things maybe. Besides, if it hurts you to see her hurting, then making her happy might make you happy, and I have no clue what I'm saying so someone else please save me from embarrassing myself further....
