Hi Ahana!I only came on a little while ago, so I don't know. However, the unread option is acting really weird and all the threads show old posts as new posts.
No one from the staff has responded yet, so I guess we'll have to wait a little more to know what's wrong.
Aah!! I see!! There was some unexpected error a few hours back!
Probably something wrong with their server.
But it's annoying the hell out of me!

I'm not intelligent! Not at all! I just like fixing things, but this is out of my hands.So since I can't fix this one by just hitting it and making it work right (true story: I actually did fix the clock by doing that xP), I'm going to get off for now and come back later to see if anyone from the staff has addressed the issue.

Maybe they just need to do something simple as clearing their cache. Maybe not. Maybe they'd have to rewrite a code or something.The number of new posts always remains the same. In this thread, the number is 1639 for me because that was the last post by Alia before I came on to check it. Each time anyone posts a new comment here, the first unread post jumps a number. So even though there are more than 1639 posts, the first few are considered as read by the system and the first unread comment starts from the next comment.
Right now, comment number 27 is the first unread post and the ones before it are read and not highlighted as unread. After I post this comment, the 27th comment will be marked read, and the 28th post will be marked as the first unread post.
The number of posts and jumping of unread posts could be different for others, though. Someone checking this thread for the first time today now, might have 1666 unread posts.
