Joshua Ebert

Joshua Ebert (born January 12, 1988) is an American author and poet. She was born in Neenah, Wisconsin. When she was about four, her family moved to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Joshua was an avid reader growing up. She studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth, switching majors several times before picking English Literature. While enrolled at the University of Minnesota Duluth, she became homeless. To keep busy, she worked as a fast food employee and, later, an exotic dancer.

Joshua identifies as bisexual and genderqueer. She is passionate about literature, music, indigenous rights, workers' rights, and Mortal Kombat. Her works published include Mattie's Ghost (2010, out-of-print), Deathskull Bombshell (2015), and Aloha from Hell (2016). She enjoys singing and has a contralto voice type.
