This is the official December Group read thread for Robinson Crusoe. As the idea to split the discussion into two threads seemed to work well in November, we will continue doing so. This thread is for chapters 1 - 11. Please do not post spoilers.

Looks like this book is not in high fashion? Who is interested in reading, even if it is later in the month?

I got the book out, but I don't know if I will read it any time soon. I have four books to finish by the end of the year.

I would be reading this in the last week of December.

Does the book have coconuts, agriculture or a lake in it...? If so, I can read it earlier in the month for another challenge (another 4 to read by the end of the year). If not, it'll probably be the last week in December for me too.

Annerlee, I don't know, it's been 20 something years since I've read it. I did a quick search and Chapter 7 is called 'Agricultural Experience', so I guess agriculture should be somehow in there?
