The plot starts to thicken when Meadow meets Zephyr James, who is—although he doesn’t know it—one of the MC’s programmed assassins. Is their meeting a coincidence? Destiny? Or part of a terrifying strategy? And will Zephyr keep Meadow from discovering the haunting truth about her family?

The world itself is interesting and I want to know more but I really don't like the characters.

Agree, (view spoiler)[the characters is one of things I didn't quite like. Meadow seems too naive for someone who has been trained for her whole life and Zephyr is too "soft" for a killing machine. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I think it would have made more sense to me if he was 'natural-born' like the boy they see as he seems more human than killer. It seemed odd that he was trained to kill from the beginning but could only ever do so properly if he became really angry. To me it looked like meadow was the killing machine and I expected her mom to say that she was at one point. (hide spoiler)]

I really didn't like it until half way and then things became interesting. I don't like it but I don't hate it at the same time. It's more ok it's not too bad than anything else.

How did you feel about the ending? And would you read the next book?

(view spoiler)[I didn't quite like the last few chapters. It seems Meadow easily distracted with so many things, instead of just straight to the original job, things she and Zephyr have to do in the first place. But knowing that they can't shut down the motherboard without kill Meadow, it makes the story more interesting. I think I can say that I'm quite liked the ending. I want to read the next book, just because I don't like to not finish series I've started. But I don't know when. It won't be in my top priority shelf anymore, though. (hide spoiler)] How about you?
