Mom2triplets04 | 40 comments I'm finding the book so slow. I'm not relating to any of the characters. It's still confusing, just want to finish and pick up something fast to read.

Fien (touchedbythepage) | 11 comments I really hate how everyone's being shifty and mysterious about the whole accident. I think if something happened to me and I forgot everything, I would demand some explanation! Cadence sort of accepts not being told so easily it annoys me. I think she "knows" and is looking for more excuses to ignore the truth. At first I thought Gat had died because he disappeared after the accident and seemed to be ignored by everyone else but now I feel as if all the liars, except for Cadence. Nobody but Cadence seems to be talking to them... I don't have a favourite character so far. They all annoy me. Except maybe Mirren. At least she talks to Cadence, Johnny just ignores her and her possible feelings about being ill and Gat...WELL. urgh. he's my least favourite character! What's up with the disappearance, then kissing, then we shouldn't, and then back to kissing again? He's so...full of himself, hating how Cadence shouldn't talk bad about her trip to Europe but it's not like she wanted to go! And she was sick. (or he's very jealous because he's dead and can't go anymore...with being stuck on the island? oosh) Oh the theories! I really want to know what happened now!

Sophie Houlton | 1 comments Maybe they are all dead but the grandfather keeps telling cady to stay away from gat
I just don't know what's going on but I have to find out!

Hayley | 11 comments I have so many questions, but no guesses about what will happen. I like the fairy tales that she tells, but I do not understand their purpose. I love how the author explains things, like how her migraines come on. The author really makes you feel the words. Why does Gat have a right to be mad at her and tell her that she doesn't know him? What is wrong with Mirren? Why did her rand parents send her to Europe? I cannot wait to finish this book!

Saya etc (sayaetc) | 2 comments I have no idea what's going on.. I read almost half the book at night and then I woke up feeling lost remembering stuff about my life that didn't happen and forgetting things that happened.
I looked at my family like they're some strangers..
It's seriously freaking me out.
And why not just fucking tell Cady what's going on it's driving me insane oh my god.

Karin (behindthelastpage) | 5 comments The book is weird. Really weird. But in a good way.
I don't know what is real a what is not. I feel weird just reading this. I need to know, what happened, even I know, I will not like it. Definitely somebody is dead. Hopefully it's not me O.o :D

Ana (404-equivalent) Wow, this all-Liars-being-dead theory is really interesting and quite possible, I'd say. I haven't thought about it, my best guess was that she's hallucinating because of medication, but it didn't cross my mind that they might be dead. It makes much sense.

I like the book much more than I thought I would! I'm really interested in the mystery and it's quite a fast read for me.

I have to say I like the writing style. I expected it to be summer read-y, which it is in a way, but then we get some scenes that are really nicely described and the metaphors where you really don't expect them to be. (Like when she tells how her father shot her. Firstly I was really shocked, then relieved when I realised it didn't really happen.)

I like the idea of fairy tales retellings that are popping up thorought the book. I think that they connect beautifully with the story. I love how first two make you question the absolute goodness with the questions at the end of them.

I do like Gat, but I'm quite suspicious about him and I think I might not like him in the end.

Actually, the book reminds me of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. The way the mystery is 'presented' is quite similar.

I can't wait to find out the truth!

Bernadette Davis (godblessthenightowls) | 5 comments I'm with everyone else. I think all the liars but Cady are dead. and she is suffering from pstd. I don't think the island is haunted. more like the family is haunted. Not literally, but haunted by the memories of the other liars

message 62: by Susan (new)

Susan (thebookishlife) | 2 comments The way her family keeps saying things that have to do with the accident, and then realize what they have just said and change the subject, keeps me reading. Like when will and taft jump on the couch and say they can't talk about how she ended up in the water. I was like; I NEED to know. It is killing me!

message 63: by Mariana (new)

Mariana | 8 comments Oh! Gat told Cady that he was the kind of man that her grandpa thought he was... so he did something bad, and that something could have been the accident of Cady!!!!

now I´m jumping on conclucions but i dont like Gat, that´s why I´m giving him the fault
