Anita Fox | 1 comments Hi. I am gifting promotional copies of my new book Denial to help get the word out. No strings attached - you don't have to write a review or anything (unless you want to of course!) . Though I would love to hear what you think of it, especially the ending as it is not a traditional HEA. Not a requirement though. If you're interested, PM me your email address.

From the editor: If you’re looking for a story with a HEA, then this story is not for you. What it does have is two damaged souls who come together in a time of need, lots of panty melting moments, and an ending that is real, and that will stay with you long after you read the final page.

Please note: this story contains erotic content and is intended for mature readers.

Everyone has an opinion about what Jenna should do. Her friends. Her family. Even strangers.

But they aren’t the ones who have to live with the consequences if everything goes to shit.

And no matter what Jenna decides, there are risks. Very real and scary risks.

With only a week to make a decision, Jenna feels the growing need to escape the divided opinions of her friends and family. Or even better. A week off from her life. But of course, she can’t even get that right.
Or maybe she got it more right than she could have ever imagined.

Because it leads to a week of escape, thanks to the freak storm that leaves her stranded. Seven days trapped in a house by a lake with its mysterious occupant, who has troubles of his own. A man who is no more available than she is.

There is no denying the strong attraction between them, but when it becomes clear he isn’t going to act on it, Jenna finds the decision to embrace the challenge of bedding him an easy one. It’s much easier than thinking about her own life.

But what isn’t easy is deciding not to fall in love.
Can two damaged souls find peace amidst the storm raging outside?
Or will the internal storm consume them?
