How do you feel about the ending?

There seems to be a lot of irritation in reviews about the semi-cliffhanger. I think I would be more annoyed if I were more attached to the characters or if I had to wait a year for the next book.

As it stands, I know I will be reading the next book soon and I'm eager to find out what happens.

The cliff hanger doesn't bother me. Maybe it would have if I was reading this book at the time of release and had to wait.

It's the other stuff she doesn't close off that I find annoying. She introduces a lot of issues and never adequately resolves any of them. I'm left frustrated with every story. I just knew this one would be different and it wasn't.

I agree Jonetta. Kava has great build up but no follow through :(

I didn't like the ending. I haven't read the blurb for the next (last) book in the series, but I'm afraid we'll read the next book and find out they never caught the murderer and we won't have resolution.
