.
Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial...

ONE nomination per member
To encourage participation the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, Beverly, you won't be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

Deadline: 26 Nov 16 (or 5 nominations, whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

We Have a WINNER!

NOMINATED THEMES
Time to Put Up the Xmas Tree - Word "tree" in the title or a tree on the cover (Sushicat)
Tree Top - Angel in the story, in title, or on the cover (Terris)
National Roof Over Your Head Day - Any dwelling on the cover: house, apartment building, etc ... but MUST be a residence, not an office building (Beverly)
Winter Solstice - The word "DARK" or "SHORT" in the title (Connie)
Celebrate the Holidays - Read a book that connects with any of THESE DECEMBER HOLIDAYS (Carol)

Terris How about a book with an angel in the story, in the title, or on the cover?

Beverly (zippymom) | 385 comments That's what I was going to say Terri!!! Great minds! :) Monday, Dec. 3 is National Roof Over Your Head Day. A book with a picture of any type of dwelling on the cover.

Connie D | 265 comments For Winter Solstice, the darkest, shortest day of the year - a book with dark or short in the title.

message 6: by Carol (new)

Carol | 4335 comments December is filled with holidays of all types. So a book about any particular holiday in December. This link should help if this is chosen.

Yes ... sorry ... I was sure when I set up the poll that it was hidden only through Nov 30, but it seems to still be hidden. S*I*G*H...

Shushicat's suggested theme: TIME TO PUT UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE - Read a book with a tree on the cover or the word "tree" in the title.
