The Heart of What Was Lost by Tad Williams
Do you prefer reading new releases or older, more established books?
I prefer to wait a while - I don't like hardbacks and I'm not a big ebook fan either (though I do read some of both). To get something in paperback means waiting for it to have been out for a while.
Are there any other 2017 books you’ve read/are looking forward to reading?
I got a couple on Amazon Deal of the Day for 99p that I think are 2017 books - The Hate U Give and The Keeper of Lost Things. One of them will hopefully make it to my list next year, if it gets a Goodreads Choice nomination. I'm no more eager to read them than the older books on my list though.

Do you prefer reading new releases or older, more established books?
As a rule, I usually read books that are 2 or more years old as I get moist of my books from the library. I don't like being on a long waiting list for a book.

Nope

The Mitford Murders, by Jessica Fellowes

Do you prefer reading new releases or older, more established books?
I really don't look at the year of publication - if a book looks interesting, the year of publication isn't relevant to me.

See What I have Done, by Sarah Schmidt and Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore, by Matthew Sullivan.

- Do you prefer reading new releases or older, more established books? I like to mix it up.
- Are there any other 2017 books you’ve read/are looking forward to reading? I was really looking forward to The Bear and the Nightingale among many others but I just didn't get around to it. I did read The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane and Norse Mythology, loved both of them

Lucky in Love by Kasie West
Do you prefer reading new releases or older, more established books?
I like to read both. I always read older books, but in the past few years, I've started reading many more new releases, which I really enjoy.

I don't really look ahead to books before they're released, but I do have 2 authors I like to read when they release books & both have releases this year: Kasie West & Katie Cotugno
