History: She was born in LA. She lived a happy life. She smiled and laughed like with her sister and other kids, then the law came in. You couldn't house people with abilities, you had to give them to the government. Her single mother wouldn't let that happen to Wren or Lark she wouldn't let president Clancy kill Wren. So, she hid Wren and Lark nothing bad seemed to happen until there was a knock on the door. The soldiers walked in and searched the house. They didn't find her, so they pulled out a gun and aimed it at her mother's head, and pulled the trigger.
Time stopped.
The bullet stopped zooming through the air.
She had saved her mother but killed three others.
She felt like a murder. Her mother looked at her and grabbed a flier, she called the number and just like that Wren was whisked away to Goldren Academy.

History: Acelin was born to two parents, who she doesnt remember, and was almost immediatly whisked away to another family. And another, and another...she was whisked between multiple Ability Accepting families in the span of ten years. After that she was tired and ran away, living on her own in the nearby woods for the next five years. She only recently found out about the academy and joined under an alias, not telling anyone her real name.

Name: Azaria "Az" Lourdes

Ability: Temperature Control
When making contact with almost everything, she can manipulate the temperature of her hands and burn or freeze what she's touching for as long as she maintains contact, but things like metal that are far more insulating might maintain that temperature for a long time. She is immune to it's effects most of the time, when she is roaming harder zones, sometimes she can have troubles.

Appearance: Light olive skin, lightly tanned, matching her headful of dark hair, somewhere between raven black and dark brown, slightly wavy down to about her chest. A pair of sparkling grey eyes will give her away from a mile, easily identifiable. She is slightly taller than most people, standing at 5"8, wearing flats so she doesn't really show off her height. She is lighter than most people her age, so she can really stealthily jump around. Silver dragon piercing along the side of her left ear, along with a sharp piercing or two right beside it. She normally wears this hood and cloak, and a white dress under it.
Personality: Once she was on the streets, she took on the identity of Az, the sly kleptomaniac. She isn't afraid to use her charm on people, manipulate them. She is normally gentle and nice, though her emotional instability might cause some issues sometimes. She is strong-willed most of the time, and her opinions were quite strong, she can also be quite stubborn. But really, on the inside, she is quite insecure about almost everything and wants to do better, as well about her status and what she does every day. She can be quite determined when she puts her mind to anything. She is quite practical and down to earth, which helps her focus on reality.
History: Born to Allison and Matthew Lourdes, two respectable businesspeople who had their own company with her twin brother Theodore, she was always overshadowed by her brother, his musical talent, his mathematical skills and his ability to learn quickly. Well quicker than her, anyway. She was always the second choice, the backup kid. She spent most of the early years in her room, slitting her wrists every time she tried to convince herself that she was important and just disappointed herself. She stayed nice, not wanting to break on the inside.
She found out she about her powers in temperature manipulation when she burned her brother with her bare hands, leaving him and herself scared and traumatized. She was left on the streets, and she had just been 10. She took on the identity of Az and eventually found her way to this place, and has been here for 6 years, she has been counting the time she was thrown out. She really hopes to one day bond with her brother.
