Hi, I'm searching afor a novel I read years ago. I cant remember the author but I think the novel was titled "RITES"

It was an erotic fiction thriller with supernatural elements which was set in Haiti. Its about an American who inherits a trading post in the Haitian interior and gets mixed up in intrigue and erotic mysticism.

Some of the characters were:

Mama Saaya - a voodoo priestess
Amalie - A beautiful Haitian girl

Also references made to Haitian voodoo deities:

Erzuli - Haitian voodoo goddess of love
Baqua Rouge - Haitian voodoo god.

I have searched for this book and its author for years with no luck. your assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated guys thanks.
