Did she really want Tatum to tell? she sounds like they were close friends, why would she spend so long on such an elaborate tale just to burn her friend in the end? Strange because I also have a hard copy but page 88 stops in the middle (or a FEW pages into) a chapter. I'll probably post after 85 pages, after the poem "SEED" because the next page starts a new chapter or section.

mine was about a girl who died and another girl who is being bullied at school...

I still think that he should've gone to someone about the teacher and Claudette and told them about the threats to ruin his college scholarship opportunities. Okay, I'm getting back to this one today. BUT I have work, of course, an IEP meeting during my prep period, a faculty meeting after school, AND our 2nd Back to School Night at 6:00. The only good news is it will be over by 7:15. LOL Wish me luck for a LONG day ahead of me!

I had a rather frustrating day, LONG as you said! I got home around 8:30 but just flopped and didn't feel like reading. I've had a stiff neck and bit of a headache all day.

The worst part about that part of the book when SO MANY kids were there and, in essence, part of her being brutally attacked, is that young people today love a good fight and only urge people on with a "get her mentality." They record it on their phones and too many don't care who's getting hurt or how badly. But I was scared for her! And Levi? Right! UGH! What a creep! (hide spoiler)]

Molly (view spoiler)[was really there for Tatum. I'm glad too that she moved on to a happier time in her afterlife and that she finally found peace. But what SHE went through with Walter was so awful, and you know there's been those types of murders. (hide spoiler)]
