One of the main characters has dyslexia. It's so bad that he can't really read anything. He keeps a recorder with him at all times. (How he managed to become a senior investigator in a career with that much paperwork is beyond me!)
Excellent mystery though!

The main character Will Trent is a detective with severe dyslexia. He is unable to read cursive writing at all which his dangerous estranged wife uses at every opportunity she can to demoralize and embarrass him.
