James | 4 comments I read this book years ago. It was a horror/suspence book and I believe it was about an invbred family that was on a killing spree.
Anyways if I remember correctly the main protaganist was a giant androgynous hulking mass who had 6 testicles which never descended due to a abnormal pelvic bone which encased them in and had no prenis. Sorry for the TMI but it's driving me insane for years trying to remember this title.
Any help would be great.
Thanks!

Francis, please provide plot details (no spoilers) and the genre of the book you’re looking for in the Topic header, not something vague like "Help! can't remember this book". Someone is more likely to recognize your book.

By "years ago" do you mean 5 years? 15 years? 40 years? Author female or male? Remember the cover?

message 3: by James (new)

James | 4 comments It's my first post my apologies. I want to say like 13 years ago
I don't remember the cover not if the author was male or female. I had surgery and while was recovering someone let me borrow me that book. It was a horror novel that's all I can recall.

Peter Meilinger | 469 comments Pretty sure this is The Bad Place by Dean Koontz. At least, I certainly hope there isn't more than one book about an extra-balled eunuch who goes on a killing spree. Was he able to teleport and use telekinesis?

If it is The Bad Place, you've pegged the wrong main character. The MCs were two investigators who were hired by the psycho killer's brother, who had similar powers but was otherwise physically normal. There were definitely parts of the book from the psycho's POV, though.

James | 4 comments Hmmmm it's quite possible. I know he was massive do to the fact of an over abundance of testosterone because of his six testicles. Teleportation I don't remember. I'm going to have to give it a look. Thanks for input.

James | 4 comments Peter that's it! Thank you very much.

Sarah James | 9 comments I am trying to find a series that I read that a woman got kidnapped and the different vampire kings liked her. There was a friend that was a funny female character that wore funny clothes, was very sexual, and was married to a nerd that turned into a protective beast if someone tried to hurt her.
The main character was kidnapped and there were people that tried to kill her.
I read the whole series. There were humorous parts also. I cant remember the author nor can I remember the series.

Added a plot description to the header. This might help others looking for this book in the future.

Sarah, please create a new thread (topic) for your request. There's a limit of one book (or book series) per thread to avoid confusion.

I dont know how to create a thread. I am doing this for a friend and this all she has given me, I have for more info if she can remember it but none so far but will keep trying to jog her memory.

If you're on a desktop or laptop, go to the Unsolved folder (link below) and just above the 'last activity' column is a link titled 'new topic'. Click on that and fill in the boxes, then click 'post'.

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

If you're on a mobile device, I can't help. I don't have one. I know the site operates differently on those.

Sarah, that's a good question. It can be difficult to find the link for creating a new topic.

Here's a quick link to the Unsolved: Post a New Topic page - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/new?c...

Bargle provided a good explanation.

Here's another method. If you can view the group's Homepage on your device (https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...), click the "topics: ... new..." link where the Discussion Board starts. In the popup, select the "Unsolved" folder if you're looking for a specific book (or book series).

☆Joycedale☆ | 224 comments Not to argue or anything but if you're on mobile there is a way to create topics. Just go to the group home by clicking the name of it at the top. Click on the unsolved folder and then click on create a new topic at the top. I do it all the time in another group.

Thanks Joycedale. I think you're viewing the full site ("desktop version") on a mobile device - since you can see the group homepage.

Actually, I was referring to the "mobile version" of the site using an iPhone. (The link is at the bottom of the page.) This stripped-down version has very little group functionality (e.g., you can't see the group homepage). Let me clarify message #11 with an edit.

No I meant the app. It doesn't show the homepage but it does show all the folders in the group. I don't know to post pics orbi could show what I mean. I don't think I'm explaining it right.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, Joycedale! I rarely use the mobile app and occasionally look at the mobile website.

I see what you mean -- on the mobile app, you can select the "UNSOLVED" folder on the homepage, then the "+" button at the top to create a new book request.

I also added a link to create a new book request on the homepage -- see the Group Description after point #4.
