"I have no idea! I must have been tired!" Harmony said, sounding just as shocked. She grinned. "That's my secret. I'm always tired."
Harmony giggled. "Yes it shall," she agreed as she started mixing the ingredients together. "Hey, be a dear and pass the sugar."
"And that is why I got the Lamest Joke Award back in the day," Noil said, remember his days in Foxfire.
"I tooootally could." Harmony grinned and handed Noil a bowl of yummy smelling light brown goop and a whisk. "Stir that please," she instructed.
"Well I meant whisk it." Harmony tossed her hair over her shoulder and started the next batch of goopy goodness.
"True, but that's because with my help," Noil slung an arm around her shoulders with out tipping his bowl to the ground. "We shall create the world's best dessert!"
"Right. And stirring instead of whisking, right?" Noil winked, allowing his arm to get back to whisking.
"Turn that sentence around and you've got it." Harmony chuckled and started stirring her own bowl of carmely stuff.
Harmony checked it and nodded approvingly. "Very good." She resided bowls. "Now stir." She grinned and started pouring the goop into the cookie sheet.
"A little, yes." Harmony giggled and swapped the whisk back with the spoon. "You whisk with a whisk and stir with a spoon, dear."
"I just did sweetie." Harmony laughed and patted his cheek. "Don't worry. You'll get it eventually."
"That's because I didn't volunteer," Noil said matter-of-factly while stirring the bowl. "Besides, I was . . . busy."
"Maybe you shoulda." Harmony nudged him and put the cookie sheet in the [stove? oven? other baking device elves have?] and clapped her hands. "Now we wait for the to finish." She checked his bowl and took it from him. "Here. I can finish this."
"It's actually pretty easy once you've done it enough times." Harmony waved him over to a chair. "Sit down you wimpy noodle," she teased.
"Wimpy noodle," Noil echoed as he sat back on a chair. "The first sign of gratitude she shows is by calling me names."
"Aww don't take it the wrong way," Harmony chimed. "It just means I love yah." She winked and turned around and set the bowl she was stirring onto the counter.
Harmony clapped the powder from her hands and went and sat in a chair by Noil. "Sooooo what's up buttercup?"
"Always is, always will be," Noil rubbed his hands together. "Now, how long do we need to wait till the goodies are done?"
"I don't know," Noil smiled motioning scissors cutting his hair. "I think it may be time I stop wearing hair like a girl."
Harmony made a face. "It's not like a girl. You see my hair?" She showed him a chunk of her almost waist length hair. "This is girl hair. Yours barely goes to you shoulders."
