"Sorry. I have no idea what you're talking about," Noil said, tossing a fire ball from one hand to the other.
Laurel turned to Harmony. "Remember that mandatory mission that I got you out of? They don't head out for another two days. I can pull my say out."
Harmony cringed. "Theneverseenattackedusandthebuildinggotburneddown," she blurted out.

Laurel paused a moment, separating the mumblings in her mind, then she scowled. "No! You burned a building down!?" She accused Noil. "You don't do that!"
"There was no one inside but the Neverseen!" Harmony defended. "And I put it out before it spread! It's not like he used Everblaze!"

"I haven't been able to create that flame for a while," Noil said quietly. Then he stood up and faced the goblin. "But I protected Harmony and allowed the Neverseen to believe the Black Swan now have a Pyrokinetic."
"We do," Harmony said proudly.
Laurel snorted. "Fine. But don't think you're escaping punishment just because you didn't die."
Laurel snorted. "Fine. But don't think you're escaping punishment just because you didn't die."
"It might've been better if I . . ." Noil mumbled, his eyes traveled to the floor than back into the cold eyes of the goblin. "Very well, what is it?"
"We're giving the gnomes a break," Laurel declared. "For a fortnight, you and Harmony will do all of the work they do here yourselves."
Harmony's jaw dropped. "You're joking."
"Not even a little." Laurel smirked. "You're old and persitant enough. It's either that or nearly complete house arrest for both of you for a month."

"Anything but house arrest," Noil said with a shudder. "I hate being copped up in a place for a while."
"Then manual labor it is. You'll start tomorrow. The rest off today will be spent resting." Laurel nodded and went back outside.
Harmony pouted. "She's a meany pants."
Harmony pouted. "She's a meany pants."
"Better than my father though," Noil whispered to Harmony. "If he was here, man, I'd be in so much trouble."
"You are in so much trouble," Laurel chimed in from outside.
Harmony made a face and pulled Noil with her upstairs where neither of the goblins could hear.

"Nope. I got this bit secretly soundproofed so neither of them can hear past the staircase." Harmony grinned. "They'd have to bit up here too."
"Larger than the Neverseen?" Noil promoted.
If he was going to be an official member of the Black Swan, he needed to know their numbers.

"So you guys don't exactly know?"
Noil always thought the Black Swan were on top of things with information and that kind of stuff. Unless that wa san illusion they wanted to have.

"Well we thought we did. And then there was an attack on Mt. Everest and we started to question our knowledge." Harmony frowned.
"Um, worrying about you guys," Noil startes off with. "Making sure to control everyone. Nothing really new."
"Nice to know we're actually problematic for them." Harmony sighed. "I wish the world was more simple."
Harmony pouted and leaned her head against his chest. "Why nooooot?" she asked, sounding like a child.
"Nah. If it was, I wouldn't have been able to meet you. And that would be inconsiderate," Noil said comfortingly.
"Hmm," Noil said thoughtfully (it's more so like a noise than a word sooooo). "Can you're water protect us from their sense of smell?"
"Nope. But Laurel has a special hatred for water so maybe I can put a bubble around us." Harmony nodded slowly.
"Yeah! I just hope Anek leaves us alone. He's having no problem bursting through the bubble and dragging us back inside."
"Depends on if he can his or not," Harmony said with a wicked grin. "Water may not be as big a weakness to Anek as it is to Laurel, but getting splashed in the face makes focusing difficult for anyone."
"Absolutely!" Harmony pulled water from the air and put it around her and Noil in a half bubble shield.
"Yup!" To prove this point, Harmony started walking, the bubble following to keep her inside of it.
Noil smiled as he followed after her. "So is this like a secret mission where we have to be absolutely quiet?"
((Sorry for such a late reply!))
((Sorry for such a late reply!))
((It's alright!))
"Not really. The water should filter most of our noise out. But who knows. Maybe we should pretend for practice." Harmony grinned.
