Well, I have the Amazon coins now, thanks Spooky1947. Don't know what I'll do with them, since I'm not much of an App person (And even less a game person.) The power of my Kindle Fire is mostly untapped.
By the way, the GTA:SA game also works on the Amazon Fire TV, for whatever that's worth. (I haven't turned the thing on since I tested it after hooking it up.)

G33, I have a suggestion for you...try the GSam Battery Monitor for Kindle Fire (200 coins)...also the icon pack for it (100 coins)...I've used it since the Fire first came out, I love it. if you get it and have problems or questions, ill be glad to be Tec support for you. :)
hey, a thought occurs to me...how about I start a App thread for the Fire...if any one has Android or iPad, we can start a thread for those too...granted apps ain't books, but many games have a SF or Fantasy aspect, and many of us here have tablets...

You see, this is why I just don't grok apps: my Kindle Fire already has a battery charge level indicator in the upper right-hand corner, complete with numerical %. And it turns red when the charge gets low and green when it's recharging.
So I wonder, why do I need an app when I can just flick my eye to the corner to check the battery level?
Unless the app causes a Kindle in need of charging to crawl across the floor to the nearest USB cable and plug itself in, it which case the app is worth it just for the entertainment value. :)
