I finished the first peak and although I don't think I'll finish this peak I'll keep climbing.
It feels strange to say I loved this book because the topic is so troubling. But thank you Bryan Stevenson and the EJI for your work and advising us of the many problems. I've always known that our system needs to be improved but Bryan spells out some horrific processes. It is one thing when things fall through the cracks of negligence and incompetence, but to see such outright corruption is more than troubling; it is an outrage. Besides being an important topic, the writing is beautiful and well structured too.
