This book is a little longer, but it is a pretty quick read. There are many different authors - it switches around from all the different black maids and one white socialite named Skeeter. The maid's speaking parts show their actual diction, using words such as "ain't" and "fore" and they share some pretty funny stories and perspectives on white women.
