Josy (aceofhearts83) | 668 comments A BIG thank you to a mysterious Santa / elf for gifting me Listening To Dust by Brandon Shire !!! I just put this on my wish list yesterday. You are awesome :)

Debra ~~ seriously slacking on her reviews ~~ (debrae) | 248 comments Although I didn't officially participate this year due to personal issues Elf Is Not My Real Name made my morning with a gift of Winter Oranges by Marie Sexton . Thank you so much!! <3

Wendy❤Ann (wluvsbooks) | 33 comments My Secret Santa struck again and left me this arousing little gem Santa Baby (Minnesota Christmas #4) by Heidi Cullinan !! I love this author and can't wait to read it. :)

And despite the little clues that came attached to this gift, I don't have any idea who you are yet my most amazing and generous Santa!! Thank you, thank you!!!

And I also read How To Be A Normal Person, it really surprised me. After reading the blurb I was kinda O.o but I absolutely loved Gus, and really, every single character in that book. I want to read TJ's whole library and then start at the beginning and read them all again.

I've also heard a lot of people say that they just can't read his stuff. I understand that, everything is not for everybody. Thank goodness we have so many to choose from. :)

Ariana (mostly offline) A huge Thank You to Elf is not my Real Name for sending me "Safe in your fire' by Darien Cox! That book has been making eyes at me for ages!
Dear Elf is not My Real Name - can you tell me whether you are my SS? Please?

I read and quite enjoyed the BOaTK series... where I struggle are his books that are intentionally comic... my own sense of humour just does not gel at all with his (it may be an across the pond issue) and when you take out what is meant to be funny the rest just leaves me cold.

He's not the only author that i have this problem with - John Inman is another whose comedy I just don't get

I definitely get that, comedy is subjective. That's why I almost didn't read TLSH. I'm not a fan of OTT humor, at all. But it sure did work for me. :D

Do you want to join us, Karen? Or anyone else??

Tell me what date you have in mind and I can see how that works for me. Fridays and weekends are usually best for me because of our time difference.

Clearly, you have been a good girl Amy! ;) I loved Hexmaker.

Emily | 25 comments Dear Super Sekrit Santa, Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of What Can Be by Mary Calmes ! Unfortunately I received this book as a gift a few days ago from Santa's Secret Helper. I contacted Amazon and let them know that this was from an anonymous Super Sekrit Santa so I didn't know your identity. They were very helpful and said that were able to issue you a refund and keep your identity safe! So hopefully you will see the credit soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts! XOXOXOXOXO! Emily

Right now January is looking good because I'm trying not to take any new ARCs so that I have time for my BRs and to read some of these amazing books that I've received here...there might be a few...just a few. I was thinking of something towards the end of the month for "Life After Joe" and maybe early February as in Feb. 2/3 for "The Secrets In My Scowl" so how about January 13/14 for "Listening to Dust" I mean really what could be better than starting a buddy read on Friday the 13th?

Sounds good to me. If Lisa is okay with January 13/14 we can totally keep that in mind and I will do my best to keep that date.
