Connie, I pick for you Lucy Stone - Leslie Meier (new to me). I haven't read any of the series but I'm curios what you think about this.
Sorry being late, but it has been a hectic week at work, so I'm a bit out.

Thank you, Karen, I'll tell you how I feel about it (although I've read some of them and I've liked them).
Kristie wrote: "Nell, who should I be picking for? I didn't see a name next to mine on the list."when i looked it says Gary
Yep so says message 2. As well as msg 51 and now msg 55. :).No hurry as I am still working on a challenge in another group for this month.
It looks like Sharon and Gary still need a series picked for them. I sent a message to your choosers yesterday. Since it's a holiday weekend, I'm giving them an extra day.

which would have been for the Baker's Dozen challenge, but I have already used up the categories this book would work for.

Thank you, for some reason on my app it doesn't show. I can see it on the desktop version now. Will go look for your series and pick one. Thank you for your patience.
Gary, I pick the Bed and Batter series for you. I hope you like them. They are on my very lengthy TBR list still.
Thanks Kristie. I managed to snag the first 2 in the series for my Nook on sale not long ago. I look forward to digging into them.
Sharon
I pick the Hamish Macbeth series by M.C. Beaton for you. Those are quick fun reads for the holiday season.
Thank you for your patience.

I finished the first book assigned for the December challenge. It was Puzzled to Death by Parnell Hall. I have to say it kept me guessing until the end. Thanks for choosing this series for me, Hillary.

Kristie wrote: "Glad you enjoyed my pick for you, Gary!"It was a really fine start to the series. For those looking for a new series, give it a try. I should get to book two sometime this week.
I am listening to Crewel World in the car. I'm hoping book 2 in the series is better. I'm having a hard time with this one but i also realize that it's setting it all up for the rest of the series. not sure i really like any of the characters though.
I finished my first book, Once Upon a Grind, and was so pleased with it. I think it's one of the better ones in the series! I hope to read the next one in the series later this month.
I finished my first December book some days ago:
I loved every page! Hope to start the next one today :)
Finished the first in the Domestic diva series
The Diva Runs Out of Thyme. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely add it to my bookshelf. Now on to the second book!

I may continue the series after this one.
Beth wrote: "Finished the first in the Domestic diva series

I am about a quarter of the way through
Raisin the Dead the second book in the series. There are only 2 books in the series so far. I am enjoying this just as much as I enjoyed the first book.
Yesterday I finished my second December book:
A Better Quality of MurderI like the Lizzie Martin & Ben Ross serie! The main characters are likeable and smart, the story is interesting and I love every single page :)
Kristie wrote: "Gary, I pick the Bed and Batter series for you. I hope you like them. They are on my very lengthy TBR list still."Down to the last 3 chapters of the second book. Thanks for picking this series. It really is enjoyable. A couple editorial errors buged me a bit, but won't impact my rating.
Finishing first The Cat, the Sneak and the Secret
and starting second The Cat, The Collector and the Killer
today. Happy holidays everyone!
Finished my second in the Monica Ferris needlework series. glad i committed to a second book because if I would have stuck with just the first i'd boycotted her forever but book 2 was much better.
Finished my second in the domestic diva series. Absolutely enjoyed them and will definitely continue the series. On to 2017!
