Still curious about how many people read Gentleman or to the Bright Edge. I would guess at least 10-15 folks picked up Gentleman, and another 8 have picked up the other . Maybe more since animals.
Susie wrote: "A popular genre! I hope I shelved my books properly."I have to admit, I don't usually notice who does which books. There were some not shelved at all and there were some on the shelf that didn't have the tag, but that happens every month. There were also some that were fine!
Amy: Still curious about how many people read Gentleman or to the Bright Edge
Oh, I didn't count, Amy, but there were a few (4 or 5? That's a guess) who read Gentlemen. I don't even remember Bright Edge (so 1 or 2, not as many, for sure). There are only three pages of reviews to skim through if anyone wants to count. I could later this evening, but I have plans for the afternoon, so I'm not here for long till later.
Ok, so I've gone back to count. 6 people read A Gentleman in Moscow. Only 2 people read To the Bright Edge of the World.
Really, I'm shocked! Perhaps people commented on each other's reviews? I feel like I can name more than 6 and 2. Anyway, I appreciate so much the effort that took. Thanks, Amy
I read Gentleman too but didn't finish it until November. While not in the official PBT count, I am a recent reader!
Ah, thanks for letting us know, Nicole! Amy, it didn't take as along as I originally thought it might. Instead of skimming and counting, I just used a Ctrl-F (find) on each page!
I read - A Gentleman in Moscow the month before the tag. I was almost done with it when the tag was announced so I didn't count it. I still read 4 HF books for the tag.
Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres. Sadly, I only read 1 book in Oct. real life is really interfering and not in a great way. Also I tried to read some HF classics like Gone with the Wind, and I'm not loving it. (Though still reading it).
