Just finished recording the 2nd podcast episode on child abuse. my guests made some really useful points. would love to discuss it with you guys, here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT5cu... to be honest, I learned a lot of things today, especially with regards to the way the foster system works in the states. pls check it out so we can discusss, I'm just buzzing right now

In Australia a 14 year old girl was raped by her foster brother and murdered by her foster father later for cover up.
wow that's really sad . . . I think the point the guests were making is that a lot of abuse occurs in foster homes. hence it is important for parents to make plans for what they would like to happen in case something happened to them. one mentioned getting a notarised letter if you would like a friend to take in your kids. would that suffice where you are?

I don't have a solution but I do know that odds are great. Pedophiles on the lurch.
