I'm watching and its good! I still think Teletubbies is creepier hahaha but that monster scares the hell out of me!
We have been watching this too. It's more weird than anything. I had some ideas about what was going on. I'm glad I was wrong. I hate when it's too predictable.
Melissa, it didn't even occur to me to call it the tooth fairy! That makes so much sense. I'm still waiting to see how it intersects with the puppet show story and have no idea what's coming. (Haven't seen episode 5 yet though.)
I am interested to see how it will all wraps up in this weeks episode. I believe the show is already greenlit for a second season on a different subject.
I'm watching it and absolutely love it! It's scary and unpredictable, which are the best things to be. It's different, and that's not easy to find these days. And you're right, Crow--anything with Mark Brandanowitz has got to be good!
Overall I did like the show and would watch season two but I would have preferred a better ending. It reminded me a lot of AHS when it comes to unsatisfying season finales.
I just watched the finale. I really enjoyed the show, as I said before. I thought the ending wasn't terrible, as I feared it might be after reading the comments, but it fell a little flat. As much as I would have hated seeing Eddie's planned scenario play out, I think it would have had more impact as an ending.
I have to agree with Randy. Candle Cove was one of my favorite creepypasta stories but the show didn't do it any justice. I'm still going to watch the second season, though. I want to see what they do with No-End House.
I mostly agree - I enjoyed watching the show and how weird & disturbing it was, but the ending didn't do anything expected. It worked for me, since (view spoiler) but it didn't quite connect all the pieces. I didn't expect it to tie up everything, but really, I still don't get the teeth. Must be overthinking it.
I didn't make it past the first episode. I decided to check it out purely because of the comparsions to American Horror Story and Stranger Things that I heard somewhere and I didn't actualy read that creepypasta before watching it. I was pretty bored by the first episode, though so I didn't continue. I thought the acting wasn't very good either. I did read the pasta after after watching it, though and found it pretty unsatisfactory as well, so maybe it's just not a story for me.

Hey Bark's Book Nonsense, check out this explanation of creepypasta:https://www.bustle.com/articles/13005...
But basically, it's short horror stories that got their start on the Internet - people started creating urban legends and posting to message boards, which then spread and change as they're copied and pasted like oral stories would (although I think these days they do get author attribution frequently). The article says the term started in 4chan but I had thought reddit, same difference I guess.
I binge watched this series a week ago and would probably give it a tepid thumbs up. I was entertained enough to consider watching the forthcoming season. But the show had some significant problems that kept me from really embracing it. The show is based on a 2009 creepypasta written by Kris Straub. That (very) short story had the germ of a suitably eerie plot, but the problem is that the show writers had to come up with enough material to fill six episodes and did so by clumsily grafting onto Straub’s story some stuff about twins, bullies, evil mothers, and lots of teeth. Sometimes this additional material works, but too often (especially in the later episodes) it left me scratching my head. The acting is okay, but nothing to write home about. I was especially disappointed in Paul Schneider’s performance. (view spoiler) The production values are fine, but (once again) nothing spectacular; I will note that I was frequently puzzled by the editing choices and that the editing for the last episode was pretty bad.

Thank you! I never knew what the term meant until now. What kind of poor excuse for a horror fan am I?!

I lost interest after a few episodes but saw it through to the end and was left disappointed.

Also it has Mark Brendanaquits from Parks & Rec, so there's that.
