Nik Krasno | 19865 comments Ok, we probably all know that the conversion rate of books marked as 'to-be-read' is very low. They may sit on this list indefinitely, similar to books downloaded for free sitting on hard-discs around the globe with low chances ever to be read...
Sometimes though there are books marked as 'being-read'..... forever. What does it mean, in your opinion: that someone stopped updating his/her Goodreads account or should you safely assume it as dnf?

My bet is that most of those people forgot to update their reading account and decided not to rate the book, either because it was found very ordinary or bad.

Nik Krasno | 19865 comments Do you run your "to-read" section and if so, do you usually follow through?

My "to-read" section is over 5,000+ (LOL) - I try to read what I have had on my tbr for a long time - like reading the oldest ones that have been on the tbr since I joined Goodreads but with so many on my "to-read" shelf it is hard to choose what to read next. :)

Lizzie | 2057 comments I have enough books that haven't been read yet in my kindle collection. The Goodreads list seems to have generated itself through things I looked at or from Amazon and anytime I enter a give away in GR. I don't pay any attention to it.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8079 comments I don't pay attention to it, either. I usually add books that have been recommended to me to be polite, but if they're not of immediate interest, I'll probably not read them.
