Guidelines


Name: First and Last name is preferred.

Age:
-Students: 13+
-Teachers: 20+
-Town Characters: 6+ (younger is allowed if parent is already made)
-Teachers' Children: <13

Gender: Male or Female

Species: Group of beings your character is associated with. For example: Vampire, Werewolf, Human, etc.

Powers/ Abilities: Give a description of your characters abilities and their weaknesses. Elaborate and explain each part if there is more than one. Make sure to include weaknesses or shortcomings in more powerful gifts. Images and GIFs are allowed as well, if put within spoiler tags.
For example:

Powers/ Abilities: Telepathy - The ability to speak into other people's minds, but it's undeveloped enough that he/she cannot hear another person's thoughts at will. He/she doesn't use this power much, as it confuses him/her and gives him/her a headache, though it does assist in communication at times.

Note that not all weaknesses apply to every character with that ability. You may also include other skills your character has, such as: Drawing, cooking, fighting, etc.

Appearance: Include a picture and/or a detailed description of what your character looks like. If you are using a picture, please use the HTML format for images. (For help: (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] or visit the picture help thread for help finding a picture.)
If you are using more than two images, put the rest in a spoiler.

Aldith is very short, standing at barely five feet four inches. She has bright red hair and deep, forest green eyes. Black is generally the only color she wears, but sometimes dark gray is present too.

Personality: Explain your characters traits here. What makes them happy or mad, how do they act around people, things they like/hate, etc. Elaborate. (More can be added to after RPing, but basics are required). Images and GIFs may be used if left inside a spoiler.
Example:

Personality: Cassie loves to have fun and play around. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] Sometimes this trait frustrates people, but that doesn't keep her from it. She's always true to herself and doesn't let anyone tell her differently. She's also very compassionate and doesn't like to see when people are hurt. When she's the cause of that hurt, she's devastated.

Personality must be at least three lines long and NOT in bullet points.

Alignment: Good, bad or neutral are allowed. If unable to decide, visit the alignment thread for more options.

Crush: Include your character's love interests. If they are dating or married, change crush to girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband (depending on which it is). You may also include an image of them in a spoiler. If your character has a nickname for their significant other, you may also add that.

Former: Add previous boyfriend/ girlfriend, crushes. Details are optional. The same guidelines apply here as in crush.

Sexuality: Sexual orientation
-heterosexual/straight
-homosexual/gay/lesbian
-bisexual (attracted to both men and women)
-pansexual (not limited in sexual choice)
-asexual (not attracted to anyone)

History: History must be at least one paragraph long (5-6 sentences). Stories and events of a character's life are meant to go here along with meaningful details. Make sure to include how your character ended up at the Universe School or on Val'JaLon(this world). Must be updated (by you) as your character develops and their story expands.
Use your imagination! Characters come alive from their backstories, so don't rush it! Pictures/GIFs are allowed in spoilers either within the body of text or at the end.

Family: Any close relatives (mom, dad, siblings); relevant family allowed. Images are allowed in spoilers.

Other: Any extra details that don't fit in other parts of the character sheet go here. Such as:
   -pets (with pictures)

Even if you have not added any content to this area, the spot must be left in.

Friends: Names of friends. Enemies also go here (as long as they are specified as enemies)

World: Where was your character created from
   -book
   -movie/show
   -game
   -imagination
You may also add who or what inspired your ideas.

Job: Job is only required for teachers or adult town characters. DO NOT leave this part in if it is a student. We will know you did not read the guidelines if you leave this part in for your student.

1. Profile subtitles must be underlined or bold.
2. Profile must be neat and easy to read.
3. Profile must use appropriate grammar and language.
4. Profile template must be in order unless an outside template is used. Regardless of where it comes from, it must include all fields.

Remember that any criticism the mods give you is to help and not to insult you or your character in any way.
Some canon characters and specific abilities will be turned down.
