These Violent Delights (Robin) | 1236 comments Mod
Starts: November 21st-27th 2016

This ReadAThon will begin November 21st at midnight in whatever time zone you are in and ends at 11:59 pm in whatever time zone you are in on November 27th.

You can double up the challenges as much as you want.

The Challenges Are:

1. A 2016 Debut
2. A Book From The Goodreads Choice Awards
3. A Black/Orange Book (November Monthly Color Challenge)
4. A Book That Has The Word 'Thank' / 'Giving'/ 'Give'On The Cover
5. A Cozy Read (Whatever You Qualify As Cozy)

(Ex. If you have 1 book that fits for all the challenges then that'll work. This ReadAThon isn't too complicated and is more laid back than most but will hopefully be helpful to you)

Sophie | 139 comments I've been rubbish at participating in this group recently! I might try and read some things for this read-a-thon. I'm not really reading anything at the moment though so we'll see how that goes.

Aw, man, I've been really wanting to participate in one of these but I didn't know we were doing it this month! That's a shame. I promise I will at some point in the future, lol. Good luck to you guys participating!

Sophie | 139 comments I only picked out my books and started reading yesterday. That gives me 4 days. I'm going to try and complete 3 of the challenges. I don't think I have any 2016 debuts on my to-read and I can't find a book with the word Thank, Giving or Give on the cover, that's a hard one!

For '5. A Cozy Read' I read A Desperate Case for Magick by Stephanie Burgis. It's a 900 word short story set in the world of Stephanie Burgis' middle-grade trilogy which I absolutely love. Being back with the characters is always fun and comforting.

For '3. A Black/Orange book' I started The Simplicity of Dementia A Guide for Family and Carers by Huub Buijssen yesterday which has a mostly black cover. I'm hoping to finish this one by the end of the week, it's not that long.

And finally for '2. A Book From The Goodreads Choice Awards' I'm going to start Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys which is nominated in the Best YA Fiction category. I doubt I'll finish this before the end of the read-a-thon but you never know!

Sophie | 139 comments I finished all 3 of my choices and had a great time reading this week. I definitely wouldn't have read this much in these 4 days if it wasn't for the read-a-thon so thank you!
