"Huh?" She asked, confused. It wasn't until she realized he was leaning in that she somewhat understood. She knew he intend to kiss her- but she didn't know it wasn't really her he wanted to kiss. "Okay..."

When she didn't move away or slap him, he leaned in the rest of the way and softly pressed his lips against hers. He enjoyed it for a moment, but kept it chaste, not even touching her aside from that. But when he broke it, he rested his head on her shoulder instead. "I'm sorry, Terra," he breathed.

Raelynn couldn't help but to close her eyes and lean up to press her lips against his, since she wasn't sober enough to know something was wrong. She still had her eyes closed when he pulled away and rested his head on her shoulder, although her eyes snapped open when he called her Terra. She made a face before she slightly pushed him away, crossing her arms. "I do not look like Terra." She said, offended. Truth be told, she didn't know who the heck was Terra- but she was pretty sure the girl looked nothing like her.

Rowan blinked when she pushed him away, and he fell back against the wall again which wasn't that far anyway. He didn't really know what to say, because now she was so clearly not Terra, though....they did still look a little alike.

"Nor do I want you to kiss me again." She said, taking the key and opening the door for him. Then she took his hand and dropped the key onto his palm. "At least not until you want to." With how drunk he was, he'd probably never remember it- which was why she bothered to voice her thought.

He blinked again but this time opened his mouth to say something. Except nothing would come out. So he closed it, but after a moment lamely said, "G-goodnight?" He didn't figure she would want to stick around and he really wanted to sleep now, but she seemed....mad.

"Good night." She said, giving him a nod before she turned around and walked towards her own dorm room.

Rowan sighed when she was gone and trudged his way into his room. He barely remembered to close the door before he went over and flopped onto his bed, falling asleep almost instantly.

Rowan had gotten himself to his room, though he was roughed up and exhausted. He was too miserable to think about blood, even though he knew it would fix him faster than anything. He was a little concerned about infection so he figured he'd call for help. Was it rude to ask for help from that girl he'd only talked to once so far? It was likely worth a try. He texted his nurse acquaintance and told her he needed help along with some brief directions to his dorm.

Everleigh wasn’t even sure what she had to brace herself for as she made her way towards Rowans room, looking down and not meeting anyone’s eyes so that she didn’t have to explain why she was there. She wasn’t even sure Rowan wanted to alert anyone of his injuries, but she had a feeling he did since he could have easily gone towards the hospital. Which was great, because it meant they were that far into their relationship to know they could trust on each other.
She hesitated outside his door, though, looking around the halls before she finally took a deep breath and knocked. “Rowan? It’s me, Everleigh.”

Rowan had already climbed into bed by the time she got there, so he wasn't inclined to move at all. He groaned when he heard the knock and decided he was not going to get up. "The door's unlocked," he called. The wounds were already starting to heal, which also hurt because he was fighting it. Intentionally making himself miserable, one might say.

Everleigh hesitated again before she opened the door, looking around the room until she found him laying down on what she assumed was his bed. “Hey.” She said, stepping inside and closing the door behind her before she went over to his side.

"Hey," Rowan said and tried to sit up to greet her. He was stiff from the crusting blood of the earlier cuts, but he managed to do it without too much pain in his face. "Thanks for coming. I got beat up a lot..."

“I can tell.” She said, setting her bag down besides his bed before she pressed a hand on his shoulder and somewhat forced him to lie down again, lest he injured himself even more. Then she reached down and pulled a few things out of her back, like alcohol and a bunch of other stuff to clean up the cuts and… whatever else he had. “I know I’m a nurse and all, but I hope the other guy looks worse than you.”

He laid back down at her urging and sighed. Usually he would smile at that question, but he was annoyed he hadn't done more. "He does, but he deserved worse than he got," he grumbled. "I don't think I even broke anything." Cormac deserved at least a few broken bones, not just for the attack but for disrespecting Terra.

“Good.” She replied, putting some alcohol on her wipe and then proceeding to disinfect his most obvious injuries. She wince when she saw a few that had healed with infections on them. “I’m going to have to open you up on some again..”

He hissed when the alcohol touched his wounds. Being a vampire didn't save anyone from that sting. "Just do what you have to. I'm prepared," he said. He hated having to get them reopened, but he'd figured it would have to happen. Healing quickly also seemed to mean he contracted things quickly.

She apologized again before she continued to clean his injuries, putting a bit of ointment on some of the worst ones. And the ones she could see, since she was sure he was beat up on more hidden parts of himself. “I’m surprised it’s taking this long for some of these cuts to heal.”

He stayed as still as he could so she could do what she needed to for his wounds. He winced most when she commented on how long they were taking. "I'm trying not to let them close," he admitted, then paired it with a half lie. "So it's easier for you to clean them."

“Well, don’t do that because it’ll make the infections harder to treat.” She said, sighing when she had to open on duo again and then clean it before she put some ointment.

"Sorry," he grumbled, though he didn't know how that worked. If it was making it harder, he didn't want that. The last thing he needed was for her to start getting annoyed with him.

It took a while, but Everleigh finally finished patching him up. She placed one more bandage before she sat back and gave him one a small smile. “I’m done. Do you need any blood or something to speed up the healing?”

Rowan sighed. Since she asked, he had to tell the truth. She would know it was a lie and wonder why he wanted himself to be miserable. "Yeah, I do need blood," he said reluctantly. When was the last time he'd had the stuff straight and not in alcohol?

She only nodded before reaching into her bag and pulling out another bag- one slightly bigger than her arm- that was incredibly… well, red. She held it out to him, since she didn’t know if he’d want it straight from the bag or in a cup.

Rowan pushed himself up to sit before he took the bag from her. He wasn't especially messy, even though he would usually rip right into one if he was hurt. But he was still too upset to want to heal right away. "Thanks for stitching me up..." he said as he started to sip from the bag.

“It’s nothing, really.” She replied, watching him take small sips of the bag before she looked around. “Although it is interesting how you asked me for help instead of going to the clinic.”

"I...go there a lot," he admitted. "The head doctor is my uncle. I'd rather him not know all the times I get hurt. Plus...it's a change of scenery, right?" He had absolutely no good excuse as to why, but he was hiding so he told her as such.

“If by change of scenery you mean mine… sure. Seeing as you see this every day.” She replied, smiling a bit before she stood up to look around the room.

"Well, yeah. I've got to tempt you with something so you come to help," he said with as light hearted a smile he could. But he wasn't feeling it. He was so, so tired.

“Well, you don’t have to try so hard to get me to help you.” She replied, shrugging a shoulder as she looked back at him with a smile. “You should drink that faster- it’s been in my bag for half an hour and I don’t think it’ll be good for long.”

"It's already warm," he admitted and shrugged. He wasn't sure what bad blood would do to him, actually, and he didn't know how much he cared. So he didn't drink any faster. He'd be done when he was done.

Everleigh looked at him strangely before she waved towards the other part of his dorm room. “Who do you share it with?”

Rowan shrugged. "Some guy. I don't know him well. He's rarely around here when I am. I...am not usually here at the normal sleeping times and all."

“Ah. Out with friends?” She asked, completely unaware that he was friends with her sister. Which was for the best, really, because then she’d do something about that friendship. The last thing she needed was her sister as competition.

"Yeah I guess you could call them that," he answered. He was friends with some of them, but more of the people he hung out with were the friends of his friends. Not that he didn't like them, but some of them....gave him bad feelings. Like their level of teenage rebellion exceeded what he was ready for.

“It sounds like fun.” She told him, turning to look at him with a small smile. “It must be, seeing as you most likely end up in the clinic so much because of it.”

He shrugged, finding that there was now no pain. Too bad, he still deserved it. "I don't know, I guess it's fun." It mostly got his mind off stuff. But she didn't need to know that. Then she'd question what kind of stuff.

“How are you feeling now?” She asked, going back towards his side of the bed to take a closer look to his fading wounds. It was interesting to see how fast he healed from… well, anything.

"Like crap, but....also better," he said and sighed. Externally he was healing, wounds sealing as if he was allowed to be okay. "Thanks for....coming out here and helping me out."

“It’s fine, really.” She said, waving her hand dismissively because it wasn’t like she had anything better to do. Or, we’ll, she did… but he didn’t seem to remember that they were supposed to hang out that same day.

He sighed heavily, shoulders slumping. He felt like trash, especially knowing he'd cancelled on his sister who had been counting on him, and he'd likely ruined Everleigh's day as well. "Still. You didn't have to. I'm sure I ruined some of your plans somehow."

“Well, I was only getting ready to meet you later today. You really only rushed my plans by a little.” She said, since maybe it wa as bad thing he forgot.

He stared at her for a second and then groaned. "That was today too? I totally forgot. I'm sorry." He really was the worst. But at least maybe this was better than him accidentally ditching her later?

“That’s fine too. You’re injured and all so I can’t really hold it against you.” She said, giving him a small smile even if she was angry in the inside. How could he forget!

He put his head in his hands and leaned forward so his elbows were on his knees. "Well the fight did disjoint a lot of things that werent bone.... I'm really sorry. Maybe we can do that tomorrow instead?""

“If you’re up for it, sure.” She said, although she didn’t like it very much that she had no reason to stay there any more. She didn’t want to ask him if he wanted her to leave, but she also didn’t want him to just… kick her out.

"I'm sure I'll be better off tomorrow," he lied and gave her a smile so that she would believe it. He wouldn't be any better tomorrow than he had been today but he would be able to act better, hopefully. He sighed, feeling tired all over again, but it felt mean to kick her out when she'd helped so much.

Taking the hint, she cleared her throat and stood up. “Regardless of that, I’ll come back tomorrow to check up on your progress. Just eat as much as you can and drink as much blood to make yourself feel better.” She said, pulling out a few more bags of it before setting it on his dresser. “You’ve got my number in case anything else happens, okay?”

He nodded sluggishly, still unsure if he wanted to feel better. "Thanks, really. I'll buy you dinner sometime to make up for it," he promised. That part, at least, he could definitely do. Even if he just bought her food and dropped it off at the hospital some day. It was an easier promise than telling her he would spend more time with her when he wanted to become more of a recluse by the day.
