They appear in other books but always in the sidelines. They're not very important, at least not so far. The leader is the father of McRieve's mate in his book which I cannot remember the title of since it is my least favourite of the series.

The leader is the father of McRieve's mate in his book which I cannot remember the title of since it is my least favourite of the series. BUT, take the series from the beginning. You'll have many gaps in the storyline if you continue from where you started. What's more, you've skipped the best books. I can say that Dreams of a Dark Warrior is at the bottom of the list of favs. If you liked it, you'll definitely love the previous ones.
Oh ok, they seemed like such good villains though. I'll start from the beginning of the series then; that'll give me a better worldview of the mythology in the books. I suppose I liked Dreams so much because it reminded me a lot of the World of Darkness books, if rest of the series has a similar tone I'm sure I'll enjoy them all

Also this is my first post in this group, as it seemed like the right place to come to if I had questions about the series
