G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments That's great Jane! What a great feeling. :)

My something good? I just received a Christmas card from UK. An internet friend of mine (Bisky) sent it to me. For a surprise, that was a nice one. Never expected that. :)

message 306: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Everything. Seriously. It's my birthday, it's not even noon, and I've had a massage, two new reviews, my birthday promo got a running start out of the gate, not one, but TWO birthday robots, and I've got dark Belgian chocolate and sea salt truffles. What more could I ask for?

You have a TON of years to go before you can be a grown up.

message 312: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Thanks guys!

And Whew! Growing up is overrated. ;)

Jane Jago | 888 comments Christina wrote: "LOL! Wait! I've finally graduated past twelve? Does this mean I have to grow up now?"

Happy merry and bright.

But. Remember.

Nobody needs to grow up. Be like me. I'm growing old disgracefully...

message 314: by Christina (new)

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Ha! I like that, Jane. I shall join in the disgraceful act of growing old.

Happy! :D

I went to the Laundromat today. It wasn't busy and I did not have to enter The Thunderdome and battle anyone for a machine. So, it was a good day.

Love it! My washer broke this summer and it took 3 weeks to get the right part. I have a genuine fondness for the 3-load capacity machines at the laundry mat now. They are a lifesaver.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Welcome both of you!

Dwayne, I'm imagining underground fighting rings located at every laundromat. The only way to get the good dryer is to win.

If you mean a review swap, just remember, they are not allowed on Amazon, Goodreads and we do not encourage them in this group.

I really should have done something with that and Del Brewer, huh? Well, maybe in R*** 2. (Name withheld to avoid a bookwhacking situation).

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Dwayne wrote: "I really should have done something with that and Del Brewer, huh? "

Yes! Plenty of laundry fodder.

I have to take the big blankets and rugs to the laundromat every so often and our local place has a game room with one of those Capcom classics machines so I have to bring enough quarters to lose several rounds of Ghosts and Goblins.

I got a head-swelling review today from Rose Collins. Still feeling it!

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments Something so precious happened to me yesterday. I apologize to C.B. Archer who started it, for my delay in showing my gratitude.

C.B. started a thread to shout out to me and many wonderful members added their sweet comments. This made me cry and then brought a huge smile to my face. What a generous and wonderful for C.B. to do!! Then again, that's just who he is, a Caring and Beautiful person. Funny how he created that thread after I'D pestered HIM for information on drawing software and devices.

I truly appreciate all the kind comments from the wonderful members of this group, of which I'm grateful to be a member. So though this happened yesterday, I woke up with a smile on my face today. : )

It was well deserved Sue. You are doing a lot here and touched many people!

Also, it isn't pestering, it is helping! I am always glad to help where I can.
Also, Yes, yes I am generous, wonderful, caring, beautiful, and most of all - modest! The most modest ever in fact! :D

C.L. Lynch (cllynchauthor) | 316 comments Some of you have been following my drama about my books not getting to me in time for my book launch - well, Createspace sent me an email this afternoon saying they had finally shipped, and when I clicked on the tracking number, UPS said it had already been delivered - two hours before createspace even sent the email. Maybe Amazon delivers via Tardis? Either way I'm not complaining! Heading out to the post office tomorrow to pick those books up. I'm so relieved. I was feeling so depressed and stressed over not having books at my launch. My biggest anxiety is looking incompetent/foolish so this is a huge weight off of my shoulders.

Sam (Rescue Dog Mom, Writer, Hugger) (sammydogs) | 973 comments So glad your books have been delivered, C.L. Great news!! Hugs
