while i don't know that i'd call it uber unique - i agree that it's a good story. there's a bunch in the genre that talk about trying to heal people from a disease that brings society down, and in this series - we're seeing suicide e as that disease. regardless though, i think that the way that we were taken on the journey with Sloane was a good one and i think that how we get from trying to survive IRL to trying to survive the Program to them trying to find where you were before it all and find hope is a nice take on things.
