"My room is down this hall," Chastity said, pointing down the left hall even though it was fairly obvious that's where the girls dorms were.

She just nodded and started in that direction. She felt awkward like that, but it was nothing she could do about it.

Chastity walked to her room in complete silence. She figured that she had run out of things to talk about, and it seemed he had as well.

((Evelin; sorry for the wait))
Maria-Louise decided to venture out of her room for once and spend some time in the common room. She hoped nobody would try and talk to her today, but she had figured she'd be fine. None of the other members of her House seemed to be particularly chatty. She had brought a few books with her, which she laid out in front of her on the table. But they weren't for reading. Instead, she pulled them open to reveal some pressed flowers within. She had pressed them in a few months earlier so she'd have flowers in the winter months and thought now was the perfect time to open them.

Anastasia walked into the common room then, chewing on a piece of gum as she read the small book of magic she checked out. She wanted to be alone too, but her room didnt seem all that appealing either since it was so small. And unless she had some magic hiding around... she couldn't make it any bigger.

Maria-Louise didn't look up from her work as she pulled out the flowers that she had pressed. A few were more crushed than others, which she frowned at, but ultimately she couldn't do anything about it. She set those aside on the table in their own separate pile.

She briefly glanced up at the owner of the voice and blinked for a bit, simply staring at her as she tried to think of a good answer. "Maybe." She responded in a meek voice, going back to her work.

"Flowers die in the winter," She said simply, taking a few crushed ones after one book that was huge enough to accommodate several. "This saves them."

"They're alive." Maria-Louise insisted, still doing her work. "I garden. I don't like seeing dead flowers," She hadn't even answered Anastasia's other question.

Stupid Gwen. Coral didn't need her anyway! If anything, Gwen should be glad they're both finally getting what they wanted. Gwen won't have to deal with an annoying roommate anymore, and Coral herself would get to have a big room all to herself again...at least until the school inevitably gives her another roommate. A roommate she'll have to get used to all over again, who was likely going to be an annoying jerk Coral wouldn't want to deal with. Who knows what they'd do to her, they'd probably put something gross in her bed or ruin her concentration during yoga or...something else equally horrible! But whatever. Coral wasn't about to admit she missed Gwen or anything, she certainly didn't like her, it was her fault they all got detentions and dragged her along into their stupid scheme by making it sound like it was something super cool!
Well, it was no matter. Coral could just find a way to deal with whatever came next. She always had. Not willing to stay in her room at that particular moment, she had hauled out a huge selection of her makeup and spread them out over the table and sat down, trying to settle on an eyeshadow shade. Most of her palette was neon pink and green to match her clothing, but that day she was feeling a bit...electric. She took out a compact and tried to adjust it accordingly as she settled on an electric blue shade and started doing it.

William was lounging in the common room, feeling like he had nothing to do. His thoughts were empty and it actually bothered him for once. It felt like there were two layers, something he had never realized before. There was his consciousness where he lived and observed, but it was becoming increasingly apparent that this part didn't get any say. Unfortunately right now the second layer was like a brick wall of nothing, or perhaps like a dog awaiting a command. All he knew was that he had things he wanted to do and yet he was just...there...devoid of anything really. The awareness came more and more infrequently as time went on, but he still found times where he registered the separation inside of himself. Where he saw himself standing somewhere, not knowing where he was, how he got there, or why. This was apparently one of those times. For some reason he hoped it lasted.
Whitlea found him there, which to her was quite lucky since it was pretty much the first place she'd looked. She didn't want to put too much effort into it, but if her suspicions based on Maxine's observations were correct, she really did need to find him and fix whatever had happened. She didn't think her manipulations would have reversed, or rather she didn't think they could be reversed on their own. With help, perhaps. Little did she know that her blockers, the fixes she put in place, had been completely shattered. They had been weak, a pathetic first or third attempt at fixing someone's mind from being controlled. What could anyone expect from a self taught beginner?
"Can I help you, Madame Warden?" William asked, the words slipping right out unhindered and making Whitlea narrow her eyes. That was oddly reminiscient of when they'd first met and she had taken it upon herself to keep watch of him all the time. In fact, why would he call her the warden otherwise?
"I'm here to check on you," Whitlea said, getting straight to the point. She didn't have the time or patience to beat around the bush, even though doing so would give her the same answer as her being direct based purely on his actions. "Maxine said you're acting odd. We both know you don't want that life back. I know you'll never say it, but I know you don't want it. So what's going on?"
"Nothing is going on," William said, the words hollow in his mind. But he didn't really get control. Even so he was feeling that separation awareness slipping away as the side he didn't control grew defensive. "I'm perfectly fine. I just don't feel like hanging out with her. She's a killjoy now with the baby."
Leah frowned, and started slipping into his mind while he talked, trying to get past the shields she had put up. She was a little surprised they were even still up, considering. It was strange, though, since that should keep him from acting odd. It didn't seem tampered with.... "She is not. She would have fun with you, if you wanted something that wasn't awful. And we had a deal on that."
"I've kept my side of the deal," William said, almost snapping. He was clearly agitated and it made Leah way more concerned that something was wrong. So she dug a little more past her shields and was almost knocked right over backward. The maelstrom of disruption in his mind was far stronger than it was the first time around. Something had gotten in there and ripped apart what she had tried to patch up. It hadn't been a great job, but she'd proud of it and she had hoped it would hold up. But someone was trying to make sure she didn't go digging around again.
Whitlea put a hand to her forehead, since it actually hurt her head to slip in. It did any time she forced it, but especially with that disturbance. The only time slipping into someone's head didn't hurt was when she did it accidentally, like when she got angry enough and couldn't handle it. This...this made her almost dizzy. She was definitely not strong enough to help him now. She would have to spend some time figuring out a better path. "I...you had better," she said, keeping up the pretense this was just a normal conversation. Or she hoped that was what she was doing. "I just came to warn you. You can't be hurting people or else your time here is done."
"Yeah yeah, I know. I don't need you babysitting," William said, literally waving her off. Whitlea was annoyed but now too dizzy to fight it. She scowled and warned him once more before turning to leave. This...was much bigger than she could handle.

Even though Vanesa was flirting with Rafael regularly, there was nothing currently between them. Which meant she was allowed to have her fun elsewhere if she wished, and she wished. She'd found an incredibly attractive guy who seemed a little down and decided she could cheer them both up. He seemed into it too, which is how they'd somehow ended up in this revenge plot. Or maybe it was a jealousy plot? She couldn't be sure which, but she didn't care either way. She would still have her fun and there would be no strings.

He would have done this in his dorm but decided against it, since his roommate was there nearly all the time and it would be pointless to call it a jealousy initiator if they didn’t at least run the risk of his ex finding them on the common room couch.

Since coming to the school, Vanessa hadn't been dating around as much as she wanted. She'd been with Francisco too long, she knew that when it hurt when he'd broken up with her. He was a great guy and all, but she'd grown too attached when she knew his heart was somewhere else. It kept her from exploring her other options, too. But now that she was back in the game, she'd been too busy with her friend's stuff to even find a quick relationship, which was why she was so pleased that she'd met Caleb. She could be a rebound, easy. Plus he turned out to be quite a good kisser. That other girl was missing out. Maybe she'd walk in and realize how wrong she was. Then there might be a fight, which would not be fun, but maybe that was what Caleb was hoping for.

Vanessa stared at him for a second and then breathed a laugh. "You know, nobody's ever asked before," she said and then tried to think about it. "I don't think I have a preference. Do you like being on the bottom?" She had to ask now because he'd asked and she was curious.

"Too bad. I guess we'll just go with it however it goes, right?" she asked smiling with a little amusement. She wondered if maybe his old girlfriend had been more controlling about things like that, which was why he had to ask. If so, that was sad.

Vanessa didn't want to get involved, but the more she heard about his old relationship, the worse it seemed. Maybe he really needed this even more than she did. She leaned in to kiss him again, being a little more insistent now because he seemed to be overthinking it. Once they pushed past that, this would be good.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately depending on whose perspective it was, Chastity was happening to walk through the common room which was simply unavoidable to return to her room. Initially, she rolled her eyes at the couple making out on the couch which was, another unfortunately, not uncommon. But then she noticed who it was and something inside her tightened, unable to let it go. Politely, or at least in an attempt at such, she cleared her throat to make her presence known.

"In the time we were together, did I ever let you kiss me in public?" Chastity pointed out. In truth, she rarely ever let him kiss her. Not because she didn't like it, but because it always felt like she was robbing the cradle, like she was using him, and it made her feel disgusting. "The issue is that you feel the need to do your private things out in public. The reason I said anything is because I know who you are."

Chastity shook her head at him, trying to find more words to say but she was just beyond bothered.
"Yeah, lets go," Vanessa said smoothly and stood, reaching for his hand even though they weren't together like that. She could tell he wasn't handling this well so she was fine with getting him out. Exes were...difficult.
