"Well...the aVatar is vital to maintaining balance in the world. So when the Avatar dies, they are reincarnated as a new person and must master the four elements all over again to help protect the world."
"I'm not sure how the AVatar sPirit chooses who becomes Avatar, but it's always in a cycle. Water, Earth, Fire and Air. THat's the cycle of nations the Avatar lives through.
"Um...I'm trying to think.." she rubbed her chin in thought. "I guess I can say the Avatar can call on their past lives for guidance. But I can only contact Korra."

Ching shrugged. "I have no idea actually. There are thousands upon thousands of Avatars to have existed. Even if OI could I don't think I should."
Ching nodded. "And I can't contact any of them besides Korra, like I said already. Which is a shame. Aang was great at waterbending...though I guess he's not supposed to help new Avatars learn bending."
"I see," Jackson said. "Well, now that I know that you need a waterbending teacher, I'll keep an eye out when I meet new people."
"THere won't be anyone coming," cHing shook her head. "The world is facing a crisis that needs every last waterbender to deal with. THat's why i'm trying to learn on my own. because there is no one else."
"Well, that's happening in my world. aNd so the waterbenders are trying to refreeze the poles, which they call home."
"Well, either way. There's a difference between being hopeful, being realistic, and being flat out negative," he said. "Maybe we could find a book or parchment."
"If the waterbenders don't fight this threat then the whole world will be affected and they will suffer most of all. They need every body they can get."
"That doesn't mean no one can help you," he said. "It's a bad attitude to have. Especially from someone in a position like yours. You are the avatar after all."
"Perhaps, but i shouldn't bank on someone coming, you know? i could be all on my own so I need to treat it as such."
Ching sighed. "I wonder if any AVatars passed learned a bending art all on their own..." she clutched her fists and stomped the ground, letting out a gust of air. "This isn't fair! I have no one to guide me or teach me!"
"Give it some time," Jackson said, protecting his plant from the gust. "It's a school after all."
Ching shrugged. "i guess. I'd ask if you or someone else could help me but magic and bending don't sound alike."
"My sister always said that you never knew who would arrive here. Magic might not work, but there's always a possibility that someone, somewhere might be able to help," Jackson told her.
He frowned at her, not sure she was suddenly like that. "uh- Yeah." He got up and went to the hall, pausing for a second before going to his room.
Ching looked up and dropped the rocks on her foot. "Ah! Hey..." She bent down and rubbed her foot.
"Ooh, sorry," He said. "I should just come to terms with the fact that I always hit you with stones somehow."
Ching propped her foot up. "I had some rocks in my hand...and i was spinning them. well, they were ABOVE my hand and I spun them using earthbending."
"Thanks for clarifying," he said, laughing slightly. It was a bit more than he needed, but he didn't mind.
Ching gave him an odd, glance, wondering what was so funny. "Let me see if I can..." She pulled some water from her pouch and put it on her hands. It immediately splashed all over the floor.
"Not again!" she groaned.
"Not again!" she groaned.
She sighed. "I'm sorry...I thought I should practice..." She bent down and began mopping up water with her staining shirt.
"Accio," he said quietly. The water from the floor and from her shirt floated to him in small orbs. He guided them to the small sink next to the fridge.
