I'm going to read American Sniper and then watch the movie.
I'm also going to read "Never go Back by Lee Child" before I go see the movie.
I have read several books this year that were (or are going to be) movies. If there are any books that I've read this year that were turned into movies or TV shows that I didn't list, it's mainly because I either wasn't sure or I didn't know.The Maze Runner

The Girl on the Train (can't wait to watch the movie
The Games by James Patterson (although it's not a movie, it was based on this year's Olympics and it seemed so real, that I prayed that nothing like this happened at this year's Olympics)
Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man
Body for Life (the author has actually made a movie based on this book, as a supplement-so it sort of counts)

I did read Grey and Fifty Shades Freed, which were extensions of Fifty Shades of Grey, so some may count that.
I've got planned to read The Color Purple and Les Meserables and Memoirs of a Geisha, but I don't think those have been made into movies.

There are a few film and play versions of A Tale of Two Cities that are older, as well as one for Animal Farm, but it's a little creepy!

This month, you’ve got two options. Read the book that one of your favorite movies is based on. Or read the book for a movie (or a tv show, like The Handmaid’s Tale) that is soon to be coming out.
One of my favorite movies is Mildred Pierce with Joan Crawford, so I’m going to read Mildred Pierce by James M. Cain and then I’m going to rewatch the movie.
