Question of the Day - November 2016

I was kind of freaked out to think of your 1000-2000 books! I am a person who reads a lot but I don't buy books or keep books (I'm a frequent library patron!). However, that being said, I just counted my books and I have 75 (and I don't even want to think about how many e-books I have!)!! How did that happen?! So now I completely understand your numbers, and I like to think how nice it must feel to be surrounded by all those books! Enjoy! :)

I have mostly non-fiction books and some classic fiction. There are about 2,500. I don't have a significant amount of online books, only a handful of freebies.

I got to around page 600 (of around 1,000) in The Brothers Karamazov and Just. Could. Not. Go. On.

I personally own probably 100 books. But I read 75+ books a year. Public Library is my friend!

I wouldn't know where to start. If I'm not into it by 50 pages I quit. Unless I paid full price. Then I pretty much have to finish.

Between 200 and 300. I only keep books that I use for reference and a few I cherish, which are mostly Rick Bragg books.

A girl I graduated high school with wrote a book and no matter how much I tried, I was unable to finish it. Each chapter was just a repeat of the previous one written in the other persons point of view.

Thursday it was 70F and sunny. This morning there was snow on the ground.... and a mean, biting wind.

We got a mild freeze last night and it's currently 47 degrees outside.

I don't. Never been a breakfast eater.

Cereal. I never get tired of cereal as there are so many different kinds if I get tired of one kind I switch to a different one.

I don't usually eat breakfast, but when I do I eat whatever ... I take "break the fast" literally ... could be left-over chicken piccata from last night's dinner, or scrambled eggs and toast, or a banana, or yogurt.

When I work I usually have a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I don't usually eat breakfast on my off days.

Never trying, but I liked ilikeboox's answer as well.
November 25 (Friday): It was Thanksgiving in the United States yesterday. What did you do for the holiday?

Also, I have been raking leaves - it's a good way to balance out the calories of big meals!
Tomorrow night (Saturday) is our Tree Trimming Party. Each year we have that the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Went to my girlfriend's house ... we've known each other since the early 1970s. She made the turkey, rolls, yams and deviled spinach. We brought the dressing, cranberry relish, champagne and chocolate bourbon pecan pie for dessert. Lovely evening. Good friends, good food, good conversation.

Forgetting my brother's birthday ... or at least not remembering in time to get a card to him across several states.

I worked. Had to make sure the ambulances got to where they needed to go. :-)

Following a few days at my daughter's in Texas, I was celebrating at my brother-in-law's house in Alabama for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun traveling, but I am glad to be back home!

I apologized to my cat for leaving the screensaver on while he was trying to watch his YouTube bird videos.
November 30 (Wednesday): Do you like to take naps?
This question is brought to you by an exhausted mom whose two year old decided sleep is lame this week.

Very much so, but if the nap isn't long enough I usually end up feeling worse after.

I like to take a 15 minute power nap but seldom get the chance.

I LOVE to nap ... not that I have many chances to do so ....
