I am simply devouring your book, Swaying. It is such a different storyline different. I wonder how you came up with the idea for this book.

Hi Jo,

Sorry, I've only just seen this - I'm rubbish on here! I had two boys myself, and changed my diet for a girl. It worked quite easily for me, but it doesn't for everyone. I did a lot of research online on a site called in-gender and came across all sorts of swaying techniques. When I was on maternity leave with my daughter, I had a lot more time on my hands, and I thought it would be a great idea for a book. I made the characters more extreme than I was haha, but everything in my book is real - people do actually do that. With what happens to Bella in the end - I got that idea from a newspaper - she was a nurse, and she did actually do that. All the characters are fictional though. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.
