By "true" do you mean nonfiction, or just realistic fiction (i.e. set in the here-and-now)?






But death count introduced me to one of my favorite st book authors and had a really cool space battle. it was a good book to get hooked on. I never forgot it or the space battle. 20 years later I can remember captain kirks strategy during the battle.

brilliant book, I gave my children this as well as an intro to sci fi, then enders game.
unfortunately few of my friends or family like sci fi ,all family members seem to like "true" stories
