message 151: by Divya (new)

Divya Cynthia gazed in amazement as Razeth wrapped himself over her shoulders. He made himself comfortable. Cynthia raised her hand to stroke his scales and asked Adara, "He likes me!! Wow, he is the first dragon I ever touched. Oh, do you know why the headmaster called us here? I came in a hurry, thinking I was late."

Adara shrugged. "The headmaster called us here? I thought it was just a class. Maybe- maybe there's something important he needs to say!" She blushed a little, hoping that she could still bond with Razeth. "Yes, he likes you quite a bit," she giggled, as Razeth gave his purring growl again.

message 153: by Divya (new)

Divya "I have no idea why we're here" said Cynthia. " There are so many empty rooms, I get confused as to which I'm supposed to be in. Well, lets see what he says."

((I have to go now.....i'll be back later. Bye! ))

She smiled. "If you like, you can hold Razeth through the lesson," she smiled, tucking her legs under her and braiding a lock of her short, feathery hair.

message 155: by MOVED - CHECK BIO (new)

MOVED - CHECK BIO (izzylightfleur) On and on they went. While Sapphira and her friend went to their seats, he broke away from them, going over to take a spot with the other dragons in the room, away from the human students.

They made it. Oh, thank goodness they made it. Adira hugged Shinrai's neck, repeating, "Thank you, thank you, thank you," over and over again. She smiled thankfully at him, then slid off, looking around the class full of people and dragons alike. There certainly were a lot of them, weren't there?

"Why is it so large today?" Shinrai wondered, easing into the large room and over towards where the dragons would sit. He hesitated, forgetting, and lowered his head so she could climb off. "I'm sorry for sleeping too long." The scales near his eyes flushed pink, because they were transparent, showing the blood racing to his face.

message 157: by MOVED - CHECK BIO (new)

MOVED - CHECK BIO (izzylightfleur) Adira shrugged, not knowing the answer. "I'm not sure, but I guess we'll find out soon enough." She smiled at his apology, now on the ground. "Don't be. I'm just happy I remembered what room we were supposed to go to," she said with a light laugh.

He stayed near to her, but still in the dragon's area, nodding. "Oh, is today the day the Headmaster was talking about, when he'd get most everyone together?"

message 159: by MOVED - CHECK BIO (new)

MOVED - CHECK BIO (izzylightfleur) "It must be," Adira answered, sitting down on the end of a bench close to him. "I don't see why so many people would be gathering here otherwise."

MOVED - CHECK BIO (izzylightfleur) ((Yaaaaay!))

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» Nikon was eavesdropping on a number of various conversations when he heard something from two girls about the day being something special. "What's going on?" he interrupted, moving to stand behind the two, forcing himself into their conversation. It was obvious enough that he'd been listening in.

Adara smiled, looking up charmingly at Nikon. "Oh, I'm not quite sure myself. I think the headmaster is holding a very important meeting or something." She knelt in her seat, facing backwards.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» Nikon rolled his eyes—well, eye. "Perfect," he muttered under his breath. All the secrets surrounding the program were making him grumpy. "Just great."

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 4506 comments Mod
She frowned. "What's the matter?" she wondered, turning to face him and dropping her backpack under her desk. He didn't seem very happy to be here, or fortunate.

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» The man shook his head, he really didn't need to start getting kids involved in his business, dragons were bad enough. "Nothing kid." He didn't move from where he stood, instead scowling at the front of the room, lost in his thoughts. It was rather suspicious... or maybe that's just the way they did things these days.

Ilsa (eruaistaniel) | 4506 comments Mod
She was 24. "Kid?!" she demanded, standing up, scowling at him. She was instantly angry, but forced herself to cool down. First Drake didn't sit next to her, Damon insulted her and tried to call her out on her liking Drake by asking him if he liked her when they barely even knew each other. And now this guy thought she looked like a kid.

message 168: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) She looked up at Iola. "Oh! Um, hello..." She really hadn't expected anyone to come and talk to her...

s•u•n•s•h•i•n•e «§KENZ§» Nikon again rolled his eye. What had her all in a tizzy? "No need to go get yourself in a huff, sweetheart." He put a hand on the back of her chair, gesturing to the seat with his other.

She looked down. Maybe she had overreacted. She'd come to this academy to make friends and have a future, something better with her life. Not to yell at people for giving her a nickname she didn't want. "Sorry," she apologized, sitting.

message 171: by Divya (new)

Divya Melisquish wrote: "She looked up at Iola. "Oh! Um, hello..." She really hadn't expected anyone to come and talk to her..."

The girl looked surprised that Iola had spoken to her. Maybe she was also feeling as alone as herself. "I am Iolanthe" said Iola.

message 172: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) "That's such a pretty name! And you're a dragon, too!" She smiled at her.

message 173: by Divya (new)

Divya She was so nice when she talked. Iola smiled. "Thank you. And yes, I am a dragon. Though it doesn't excite me as much as it excites you. What is your name? "

message 174: by Divya (new)

Divya Ilsa wrote: "She smiled. "If you like, you can hold Razeth through the lesson," she smiled, tucking her legs under her and braiding a lock of her short, feathery hair."

"I'd love to hold him." said Cynthia and she stroked his scales again. It felt a bit ticklish, but was nice. She couldn't wait to see if all dragons in the academy were just as nice. She smiled at Adara, feeling happy that she had a friend to talk and share her feelings.

message 175: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) "Seraphina." She smiled. "And I love talking to dragons! You're all so fascinating... Much more exciting than us humans..."

message 176: by Divya (new)

Divya "Your name is also very nice, Seraphina" said Iola. "Humans are fascinating to dragons the way we are fascinating to them.....so I'm right there with you at the fascinated point. I never saw a human before I came to the academy. "

message 177: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) "And I'd never seen a dragon..." Seen being the keyword. She'd suspected, but she'd never seen one with her own eyes...

((Do you want Gwalior to come in?))

message 178: by Divya (new)

Divya ((Alright, make her sit next to Cia, so that they can start a convo. I have to go now :(, be back later))

message 179: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) Gwalior entered the classroom, gold scales gleaming. That is, if you ignored the torn out scales and the scratches down her sides. She headed over to the dragons area by herself. She hated not being bonded, but she'd given up hope a long time ago...

Adara smiled at Cynthia and watched her pet Razeth. The baby dragon seemed to enjoy it immensely, soft scales shooting up like goosebumps. He wriggles slightly, giving his growling, purring laugh and Adara giggled.

Cynthia saw a gold-scaled dragon head over to the dragon's area. She hadn't seen that dragon before, so she thought of calling her to where she sat. She stood up, and patted her on the back and said, "Hi, I am Cynthia. Do you want to sit with me and my friend, Adara ?"

message 182: by mels (new)

mels (padmeskywalkers) She looked over at the human girl. "Would you not rather sit with your human friends?"

message 183: by Divya (new)

Divya "I never talked to any dragons before, and you seem like you are also not too happy to be alone, so I thought of inviting you. It's up to you whether you want to sit with us." She shrugged and walked over to her seat, gesturing the dragon to follow her.

message 184: by mels (new)

"Adara, I just invited the gold- scaled dragon to sit with us. Is that okay with you?" whispered Cynthia quickly to Adara as the dragon made her way over to them.

Adara nodded. "Wow... I've never met a talking dragon," she said, "Or one with gold scales. I'd ask you to pinch me, but..." Her eyes were bright with anticipation.

message 187: by Divya (new)

Divya Cynthia pinched her anyway, as the dragon came over. Cynthia moved a bit to make place for the dragon. She was as excited as Adara, to talk with the dragon.

ENTRANCE

The headmaster bustled in. He was a tall man and well muscled, though it was hard to tell. Several students snickered at his garb, as he wore what looked to be an overly large violet robe, much like a bathing robe, embroidered in gold. No one had seen the headmaster, due to the importance of pretty much the running of the entire school. He didn't look to be a particularly nice man. Those who snickered, ridiculed quietly, in an almost sort of awe. This was the man who had convinced both sides to align and he formed the academy. The headmaster's hair was slicked back, greasy, almost, and the hair about his ears was lined with snowy white hair, which in turn was speckled with thin black hairs. Under his arm, he carried a large book. It almost seemed as if he was avoiding looking at his students, dragon or not. Carefully, the book was placed upon the teaching pedestal with an ominous thud, echoing. It shouldn't have made such a loud thud. Strangely, the book seemed far too large for reasoning. The strange man, the headmaster, slicked his hair back with his left hand and leaned over the pedestal, like some minister forcing down words of hell towards the congregation. It was not a comforting glare that he gave each and every one of them.

He cleared his throat to speak. What should he care of the motives controlling him? These children were merely tools for the using. Their lives were insignificant in the greater picture. There was a reason he had so closely dictated the building of the academy, the construction. Bonding was not of his idea or of any known idea. It was the ultimate purpose of a larger being. Grimly, the headmaster smirked. He would be one with eternity, immortal.

"Good morning, students," he boomed deeply, his voice seeming somehow thin as well. He gave a crooked smile to the students, all of which had never seen him before. "And greetings." His eyes darted over them like he was about to consume a delicacy.

message 194: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) "Are we all supposed to chime 'Good Morning, Headmaster?'" Weiss asked, not impressed. He'd been with his dragon since he was a toddler, before the program, and he thought it insignificant. If they all wanted a war, let them have it. Violaceus and he could go live somewhere undisturbed. Now, with Aleyne and her bond, of course, but he didn't care about the academy or its headmaster, as big and imposing as he was. Weiss had seen bigger and more imposing. Weiss didn't care about the man or his goals.

message 195: by Lyndsey (new)

Lyndsey Alyene twiddled her thumbs, barely paying attention to the proceedings by this point. However, she felt Weiss's presence like a soft buzz, tugging her back down to earth, and by that reality. Because that's where he was, and where he went was where she would be also. She glanced over at him, though couldn't disern much from the simple action.

"It would be nice," the headmaster answered Weiss, not impressed with the dull, dry response. This was a momentous occasion. And the students didn't seem aware of what they were just about to become a part of. Well, that was mainly because they were completely unaware of the fact. It still would have felt more satisfying if there weren't the few rebels who didn't seem awed at his presence. He glanced at Weiss. He'd definitely be going deep into dragonlands. As for the others... A few would do various small troubles, while others would destroy towns, level mountains... He had great plans.

message 197: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Weiss, unfortunately for the headmaster, was most likely one of the few who could handle dragonlands. "Ah. Well, I'm sorry for the reluctance," Weiss said, yawning. He wasn't one for egomaniacs.

The headmaster was definitely an egomaniac, and was one for people who worshiped egomaniacs. "Apology accepted. Now, students," he began railing off on nonsense, trying to use his mental link with him to suggest which went where, and the bonds were instantly in his mind. There were a few unbonded, but that would be mended in an instant. Some were worthless to the cause. They'd be knocked out for a while. But others were useful, incredibly so. He smiled toothily, going on about the grading system and how it was beginning to get outdated. It was almost ready. His power was almost complete.

message 199: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) ((Too bad. Weiss is too bold and stubborn for that. :P))

message 200: by Lyndsey (new)

Lyndsey Aleyne cocked an eyebrow, surprised that Weiss didn't rise to the challenge. She twisted a finger into her pale hair, her gaze still somewhat distant. Her mind was jumbled in thoughts all bustling for position at the forefront. Firstly, the professer.

She didn't like him.
