"Lies. That's all this school is, isn't it? Lies upon lies upon lies." He was slowly managing to move one foot forward at a time. "Was it a lie, then, that Ilnara was killed by accident?" His voice seemed calm when speaking of his dragon, but it was deadly furious. The teacher was far too distraught to pay attention to her... So Seraphina slipped out of the classroom, and raced for the headmaster's office. She wouldn't linger. All she needed was one folder, then she could go to... Someone and show them what had really happened.
"You have it exactly, the headmaster said, "And it was a lie that killed her. She would have done better to question more. I sent each to the abilities of their strength. She was too weak." He smiled at Adam, brows furrowing as he reinforced his mental block.
"Ilnara..." His voice broke. "Ilnara was never weak." She pushed open the door, shutting it behind her, and wS at the desk in a minute.
Luckily for her, the headmaster was all too distracted with his temporary playthings. "It was with Ilnara as it was with Feldrer." He taunted, "Both all too weak."
Anya's voice turned hard, stopping her own pain. "What do you mean?"
Anya's voice turned hard, stopping her own pain. "What do you mean?"
"Ilnara wasn't weak." Adam was... In so much pain. His hurt more than the intended pain from before.
"Unfortunately, once one bond is broken, the person becomes relatively useless unless they bond again, and then? Then they are incredibly useful. Adam, you'll bond again, I'm sure of that."
"What did you say about Feldrer?!" She roared, launching at him, only to collapse to the floor in pain.

"I... Will... Never bond again," he replied, with great effort. "Never." She should leave. But she stopped, seeing a large book on his desk.
"You don't need to do it willingly," he smiled darkly. Anya screamed in pain.
The book had files slipped between the pages.
The book had files slipped between the pages.
"No." He fell to his knees, clutching his head. She hesitated, then began quickly flipping brought the book. This... This was everything. All of it. The entire plan of his. These folders... This book... But she couldn't get it out of here, safely... She bit her lip, conflicted. She couldn't just leave it here. Nor could she take it with her...
The files were displace-able.
"You see, when we have two potential students bonded to each other, they can't truly gain more potential. Unless they were bonded to a more powerful creature. Under this logic, I corrupted Feldrer's mind and caused conflict under which only one of you would survive, the winner being bonded to a stronger dragon or human."
Anya screamed, more in mental agony than physical.

She muttered darkly to herself, as she flipped through, trying to find something she could take with her.
She felt panicked, flipping through. She couldn't leave any of this... But se couldn't take any of it, either.
Of course, however, she was panicking. And when she panicked, she didn't think straight. Her thoughts were flying all over the place as she frantically flipped through the book.
The headmaster kicked Anya in the stomach, and she couldn't do anything about it. He frowned at Adam. The boy's bond with the creature below was weak.
She had to leave it. She couldn't bring it, and while the headmaster might not miss the folder, he would certainly miss this. She would have to trust her photographic memory... And the folder was incriminating enough on its own, without the book, after all. "Stop... It..." Ilnara was the only thing keeping him sane right now, but it the thought of her that was also driving his crazy. The thought of her made him angry, at the headmaster, at the school, at everything. She hadn't deserved to die. She wasn't 'weak.' It had been a long time since his initial bonding ceremony. Perhaps after your bond died, your connection with the creature lessened? "Get... Out... Of... My... Head..."
"No," the headmaster said, causing the boy to feel more agony. Adara whimpered, backing up with her dragon clutched in her arms. Adara kicked back at the headmaster, but was frozen.
Something snapped. The control was completely lost. And it was a painful loss to the headmaster. He jumped at the boy, growling as he attacked.
He reared backwards, stumbling to his feet, completely disoriented. She closed the book, putting it back where it had been before, and ran from the room.
Anya whimpered, and suddenly Adara was there, helping them flee the raging headmaster. Razeth spat his breath, healing breath, giving them energy, as he clawed the headmaster's face.
He pulled her down the hallway after him, looking over his shoulder at the headmaster. Phina fled the office (if she hadn't already, I forget XD)
Luckily, Phina was gone with the folder by that point. He slower, leaning against the wall, gasping for breath.
"Hey. I-it'll be okay." Really, she was crying. Well. He wasn't really sure how to deal with this, so he just kind leaned against the wall.
"Anya." He said, not even turning to look at her. "Is he alright? And may I inquire as to why it was your fault?"
Adara nodded. "Because I started to cry, he took Razeth."
Anya looked down. "It was him. He killed Feldrer."
Anya looked down. "It was him. He killed Feldrer."
"I know, Anya, he killed Ilnara too," he replied, still not looking at her. "Adara, he probably would have done it anyway, alright?"
"What do you mean?" she asked, sitting up.
Adara was babying her dragon, barely paying attention.

"I don't know. I... I was just thinking about my dragon, and trying to push him out, and something just snapped."
"I wish I could do that," she said, looking down at her knees. "Apparently I'm just a powerful pawn."
