She thought the same, but heck, the rules were rules. She'd just wanted to try a different approach than the one she'd tried on Feldrer.

"Is that what you used to kill your first bond?" he asked bluntly.

Ro'Daar blew out breath, not lava, and waited for her to speak.

" Meat," he shrugged.

" Well I have to eat many small things," he growled in annoyance.

"I can imagine." She sighed. "Dinner must take all day."

" I do not have timed meals, I do just eat all day," he growled.

"That's a pity," she said, "Poor animals."

" That is what they were made for," he shrugged.

"I suppose." She nodded. "Just it must be painful."

((Yes, there is, they have sacred grounds and worship a peaceful god who made them for peace but gave them tools that could be used for either good or evil as their own personal choice, so their sacred area is apparently where they were first spawned.))

"Well, if you kill another rider, even if it isn't your own... There won't be a place that will take you."

" They cannot fit me in one anyways," he said.

"Yeah, but at least you have your peregrine human to keep you company here and to be less annoying than the worms."

" Trying to insist on that is what a worm would do," he said jokingly.

Ro'Daar just rolled his eyes in annoyance.

She chuckled, taking a seat on his paw.
