((I did it again. *eye twitch* I am horrible. I really am sorry, I swear!))Oh yes, calling her Sapphira would be much better than calling her 'girl'. "I am Traenilm," he replied, having completely forgotten about exchanging names. That was probably important, correct?
((Its okay))She smiled, "Nice to meet you Traenilm." she replied honestly. She was finally doing what she'd been wanting to do for the past 10 years. Not just the flying though. Being apart of the treaty and helping with it by being bonded to a dragon.
((I'm ghosting. Uggggh.))"I would say the same to you, Sapphira," Traenilm returned the greeting, putting on another burst of speed as they flew over the academy's buildings.
Sapphira let out another yell of joy as they sped up. She looked down at the academy building in wonder, wondering why someone wouldn't want to fly. She closed her eyes content to just feel the breeze on her face as they flew.
The dragon turned his head slightly, glancing at her with a grin. She didn't seem the least bit scared at all, even with how fast they were going. It was amazing. "Have you ridden a dragon before?" He asked, curious.
At his words she opened her eyes. "Nope, never," she said honestly. "Why do you ask?" she asked wondering why he thoughts she'd ridden a dragon before.
Never? The surprises kept coming, and coming, and coming. "You seem at ease," he answered, looking forward. "It made me wonder. I've seen others take their first flight and they screamed at the top of their lungs. Those ones are rather loud. You, on the other hand, are practically cheering."
((Sorry for not responding for the past 2 days. I was sick Monday and yesterday a book I'd been waiting to come out for 2 years came out yesterday so I spent all day reading it))She shrugged, "Guess I'm just different," was her flippant response. Her and Lily had always loved thrills and flying was the greatest thrill she'd ever experienced. She liked risk taking the adrenaline rush it gave her.
((CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE. OMG, DON'T SPOIL IT. I'M ONLY AT 31%. IT'S AMAZING SO FAR. ASDFGHJKL. FANGIRL ATTACK.))Traenilm snorted at her answer. "Yes, I can tell. Wasn't that what we were just discussing?" He retorted, but his tone wasn't rude, just teasing. And slightly sarcastic.
((Yup and I won't I'm just sad to have finished it because now I miss the characters and re-reading is not the same as reading it the first time!))"I thought we were discussing how awesome I am compared to most people. My mistake." she said sarcastically, but not condescendingly. "Oh dear lord, I'm sounding like Lily." she said to herself, "the horror!" Lily being her best friend and all they always joked around about how "horrible" it would be to sound like each other even though they never meant it kinda like now.
((I agree. That's why you started all over from book 1. XD ))His curiosity spiking, he asked, "Lily? Who is this Lily you speak of?" He turned again, flapping his mighty wings as he started heading back to their original location. They'd circled the entire academy already. What was it the humans said? Time flies? Accurate, to some degree.
She smiled at the thought of her best friend. "My best friend who I've only known my entire life." She answered. She realized how dark it was started to get and realized it had to be pretty late. Time had zoomed by, but it always seemed to when she was having the most fun.
Slowing down, Traenilm started descending as she spoke. "I take that she is close to you?" He searched the ground, not wishing to land on any dilly-dallying humans. That would not be something he'd want to explain.
She nodded, "Yeah she is. I trust her with my life." And it was true she did. Lily often told her she was too trusting, but really she only had a few people she trusted with her life and Lily was one of them.
((My apologies!))He glanced over his shoulder at her, but didn't respond, quickly turning his gaze away from Sapphira and to the ground. Thankfully, no one was close enough for him to squash them. In fact, there weren't that many people around. He lowered his massive body to the ground, getting into a position where she could get off easily.
As soon as he landed on the ground she hopped off him, landing lightly on the ground. She turned to look at him, "well thank you," she said, "but its late and I should be going." She had to get back to her room before Lily did because if Lily went there to find her gone she'd freak.
Traenilm nodded, rising back up. "Of course." He did not mind her leaving, however, he was surprised to feel disappointed. So soon? Then again, a few hours had gone by, but still. It'd been nice to, well, bond with his bonded one. "Farewell, Sapphira."
She nodded in goodbye. "Bye Traenilm," she said with a small wave walking backward so she was facing him. She quickly spun back around thought to see where she was going so she didn't trip and make a fool of herself, which is something she'd done numerous time in her lifetime.
The dragon watched her leave, smiling slightly. That had gone over rather well, amazingly. He looked forward to spending more time with this female human. Sapphira, he thought, correcting himself. Her name is Sapphira.
As she left she thought about her day today. Especially the past couple hours. She couldn't wait to tell Lily and had half a mind to go to her dorm and wait for her there.
((Alrighty then.. That was fun. xD The plot's about to start in Classroom #3. Wanna meet up there again?))
((As long as you don't mind them walking with the best friend as well. Also what exactly is the plot since I'm clueless about it!))
((Go the topic and read the second to last page, towards the bottom. :) The third bond is going to cause some chaos. XD And I don't mind at all. Traenilm can trail behind and marvel at how humans behave.))

"Oh hey I just realized something. You never told me your name." she said realizing they hadn't exchanged names. "Mines Sapphira." she told him looking around not believe how small something looked from up here in the sky especially seeing some of the tallest trees look so small.
