"Female humans?" Damon demanded completely caught off guard. Then he laughed. "I don't have time for women, I got classes to attend and alliances to form."

"I would allow you some respect if you did that for me," he said, moving hi head away from her scratching area. "Perhaps you would raise up high than a worm, and be a bird," he said jokingly.

She chortled. "If you don't have time for female humans, then I don't have time for male dragons," she said, by the same logic, guilting him, or trying to. "After all, I don't have time for them. I have classes to attend and- Alliances? You're making friends?" she purred, catlike.
"Birds are nice. Not a vulture, though," she said, "What kind of bird?" she asked, stopping the scratching. Apparently he didn't like that much. "I could use a wire pole with a hooked tip. But it would be disgusting. I might need to rise up the class in bird."

"I'm not completely anti-social, I just choose my friends very carefully." He grinned, feeling her contentedness. "And you can't just use my arguments against me!"
"You would need more than a pole, this is rock we are talking about," he said. "As for a bird, perhaps a blue jay or a cardinal," he said, not really thinking about the birds he said.
"How much for a Peregrine?" Anya said, smiling. At least if she offered him a service, he wouldn't consider killing her and they could better get along.
"Will I be included in your friendship with your mysterious pals?" she asked, "Or will I be told to wait?" Like always.

Damon mused for a moment, "I believe I might require your assistance with this one. She may warm up to you more quickly than me, my goal is to win her over. She may prove a valuable resource."
"Three times a month, if you work on your bad breath so I don't die of poison whilst I'm scraping," she said, smirking.
"And the giant dragon hundreds of feet tall wouldn't?" she snorted. He was bad at this, she decided. Offending the powerful and making alliances with people he wouldn't speak of to her. "What's her name?"

"Do you have something that would work at my size," he said, taking the jape coolly. He was finding her enjoyable, sadly.
"Not sure," Damon admitted. "All I know is she's powerful, or at least that's what they say. If not, she'll merely be a waste of time- but it's worth a look."
"Hmm... I suppose you could chew wads of the mint invasion in the garden. It'd be a good dead, to many." Of course, he'd likely freak out the gardeners.
"I am sure they would not like it if I ate their garden, although that would be highly amusing," he said.
"Oh, Mint takes over everything," she said, having a mild interest in plants, "I've heard their complaints."

"The other people were powerful. You should have told me you were looking for powerful people and dragons, I could point you to many," Veratri said, snuffling slightly, still feeling slightly blindsided.

"Perhpas we could ask them one day," he said. I am sure the only thing my mouth smells like is lava anyways," he said as they flew somewhere, Ro'Daar turned back around, he didn't know where they could go so he might as well head back.
"Hmm," Damon mused again. "I should have, I hadn't thought that far in advance. You're right, you will most certainly know more people with connections and information than I though. That's invaluable."
"So, have you been assigned a living cave?" she asked, wondering if he'd just burn up the comfortable, large mattresses stocked in the living area.
"Ha! like I could fit in one of there caves, I came in before I was born so they were not ready to accommodate for my size," he said.
"So, where do you stay?" she wondered, as he was incredibly large. "I've got a human dorm, as I don't get larger with age, except for around the middle."
"You want to find something capable of holding me? Try my old home, I lived with the lava," he said. Landing back on the flight area.

((Oh, Lynds, please remind me!))
"You think of everything too strategically," she sighed sadly. She wanted this person to be a good person. He said it was a female, maybe it was a human he could get along with.

((Okay! Wasn't sure if you'd seen it or not, lol. I'll re post it in the future!))"What do you think of your kind?" Damon asked abruptly.
She dismounted. "Maybe there's some deep cavern under the earth for you," she mused.
Veratri sighed. "He thought of all humans as worms."
Veratri sighed. "He thought of all humans as worms."
"I could see that, however, considering what our races have been through it's not hard to see why. Bitterness still remains over the deaths of both our kinds, though you are not old enough to remember it."((Wait, how old is she again?))
" Perhaps there is, but how do I get underground?" He laughed. " The entrance would have to be huge!"
((10. Her egg hatched right after the treaty was signed, and her egg was donated. I was thinking he hatched it personally?))
She sighed. "I feel awkward," she confided, "Like I don't belong with either dragons or humans."

"Well, you could stomp around and break through," she joked, crossing her arms. "Do you want a tongue scraping?"

" Well I do not know if I would like to dig that far down," he said, setting her down and nodding to the tongue scraping.
She gestured to the shed. "They have everything in there." They'd likely use a steel pool skimmer.

((Okay!))
"Whyever's that?" Damon asked, prodding her to continue.
She fetched the pool skimmer from the shed and brought it out. "Don't hack," she grinned.
"Because I sort of don't," she sighed.
"Because I sort of don't," she sighed.
She held her breath. "hack and I'll gag you with the pole," she said, effectively scraping off his tongue laboriously.
"How would you know how to be more of a dragon?" she asked dismally.
"How would you know how to be more of a dragon?" she asked dismally.
Ro'Daar stayed perfectly still. His tongue sadly was littered with rocks here and there from left over lava that cooled in his mouth. There was even some between teeth.
"Just because people think you're inhumane doesn't mean you're a dragon," she snorted, smiling all the while. "All right... How do I become a better dragon?"
