Bandit (lecturatoro) | 8821 comments Listened. Reviewed. Decently entertaining not great, but enough to entertain me on my walks. Kid characters seemed to have been rendered nicer than adults. Maybe this should have been YA? My OCD was so offended at the killer having OCD :)
Thanks for putting this together, Char.

We're working on making these a more regular thing. I hope it works out like we're planning.

Marc | 3 comments just finished yesterday. I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to hear the book for free. I gave it 3 stars. Here's the review i posted on Audible:

"Jason Parent has crafted a truly horrific villain, and he has a knack for making the mundane terrifying. He avoids the trap of making his protagonist a "Mary Sue," even though he is possessed of an extraordinary ability.

The plot relies, on occasion, on some questionable logic and the occasional idiotic choice by a character who should behave differently. But that's a fairly minor squabble.

The reading is mostly good, although I prefer Emma Lysy's delivery when narration over her delivery of dialogue, in particular when she is reading the male roles. The audio seemed a little bit over-compressed, which took some getting used to."
