After Harry summarized everything that happened the day of the theft of the $2 million from the film location and Angella's connection to the production company, what suppositions about the possible scenarios came to mind, if any?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Right away I figured it was an inside job. Why would they need real money to shoot a film? They could have easily used fake money for this.

I thought it was an inside job, too. It had to be someone connected to the bank because there was no way they'd have had those details.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, it was obviously an inside job. Only someone from the bank could have known that the notes were real.

Like Robin, I also found the real/fake money issue far-fetched. Counterfeit money doesn't look like monopoly money as is suggested in the book. These days it looks very real and the director's insistence on using real money made me suspicious of him as well.

I thought Angela was killed because she stumbled across the plot to steal the money. The idea of scapegoating her didn't occur to me at first.

I had the same thought about Angella, too. The real reason for her murder is more heinous.
