Gjuro (gjuroszlikovski) | 101 comments If I have about 20 covers I wish to add, should I write 1 long post or a few smaller posts? Which way is easier for librarians to fulfill? Should I write 5 posts with 4 requests each under same topic or under new topic each?

Or if I run in multiple profiles of the same author, that need merging or correction (or deletion), and books also need merging with original author profile... Sometimes I just put it all in one loooong request. But I've noticed that such requests are 'on hold' for a longer period than small requests, and sometimes end up forgotten.

Is there even enough active librarians?

I'm open to advices and suggestions. Thanks!

Sandra | 31485 comments Smaller groups make it easier to process your requests. Sometimes a huge long list is just too daunting to tackle. Or you know you only have 10 minutes to do some edits before you have to do something else.

There are a lot of active librarians, but that doesn't mean they all come & read the posts here in the group. Plus there are a lot of different time zones, so at some points there are more librarians around than at others.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Walls of text (one long request) can be quite overwhelming at times and will often get passed over in favour of shorter requests. One suggestion for a way of listing that works for me as a Librarian is to start a new thread and put each book in a separate post. It makes it easier to share the load as Librarian A can say "Working on #1-5" so when Librarian B looks in they can pick up at #6, and so on.
